4 years late but I disagree, most western players or non Japanese players in general tend to play the game solo, unlike how a lot of Japanese back then could play coop with others since there's a lot of people who play Monster Hunter in japan way before, unlike outside Japan which you couldn't just pop an sos flare.

But Teo's weakness is water.

The tail and backlegs take more ice than water damage. That being said, elemental damage is not that important against teostra.

With monster like teo you don't need a guard point/adept evade,that's why other style like guid/striker can be viable too,but probably if the monster wasn't an old gen one,but a (just for making an example) deviant astalos it will probably be a lot different

Now I wonder if we use Brave against Teo but focus on attacking with Spirit Slash just like Canta did in this video which one will be faster? The red buff is stronger than blue but Brave seem have stronger finisher.

I don't know the exact MV of brave LS attacks,but i'm pretty sure they are not that different from guid,and if they are highter the decreased power of brave blue spirit buff wil balance it. The real reason for which brave LS is OP is the guard point,trust me without it you will rarely see a speed run with brave LS

The fact you can equip 2 hunter arts is good, with the gs i always used Guild against Glavenus and some other, with Lion's maw and I don't remember the name, the big hit counter

kommt ja immer auf das monster und deine rüstungsfähigkeiten an^^ aber sonst ist sprengelement immer praktisch (am besten das zornklingen glavenus schwert), sonst das brachydios-oder teostra langschwert^^

xX_InfernalDestroyer_Xx * Natürlich gibt es für jede Situation verschieden Waffen die am besten sind, aber das mit Abstand nützlichste Langschwert für möglichst viele Quest und Monster ist bei MHX eindeutig das von Hellblade Glavenus. Bei MHXX hingegen ist das im Video gezeigte, vom Endboss, eines der besten. Es hat einen recht hohen Angriffswert, braucht kein Schärfe+ und besitzt 3 Slots, was es sehr breitbandig nutzbar macht. Vergleichsweise ist es noch lange nicht immer so nützlich wie es das Hellblade Glavenus Ls war, jedoch auch deutlich besser als jenes in MHXX.

Neben dem schon genannten Hellblade/Zornklingen LS, sind auch das Tigrex und das Devianz Tigrex LS gut :)

imo critical juncture is just a skill that saves you from getting hit or just for style.

Fuchsiya 180 motion value instantly? It's a very ofensive HA but it is hard to land it efficiently on Teo, although for a lot of monsters is very useful

Elrosh Debach I love Striker LS. Extra hunter art and fast humter art charge for only backwards fadeslash is nice. Also the new hunter art is pretty fun despite its short length.

It's on switch with better graphics but MHRise is here too.

Shin George Using the sideways fade slash from guild is super useful for dealing with teostra's turning. You can see just how much that let canta keep hitting the weak point on its legs. Over the course of the hunt that offers more damage than 1 extra hunting art. There are plenty of monsters where striker ends up being a lot better, but teostra isn't one of them

it all depends on whether you wanna do quests on your own, or go full savage and be Canta. Also, weapon and style are important too
