@@xiaomify It isn't a basic protective case that's in the box. This one is a new anti-microbial case that xiaomi has developed with silver ions that has the ability to kill bacterias that are on it. It's a stunning innovation from their side. I wish you had watched the Xiaomi event before you said that. Not that I'm disappointed with you, but such an innovation in a common looking case is just put away like its nothing. Maybe Xiaomi should have put something on it to inform the person unboxing it... 😔
@@xiaomify can i have your xiaomi mi10t pro?i need it for my online class ,im from the philippines and i need a phone right now. my phone is not working well anymore 😔 i hope you can help me .
yeah! I was soooo impressed with the Ultra's stabilization... -kinda hoped that it would be on-par with that one. The 'stabilized' footage option from the camera menu is pretty good though, but unfortunately it won't do the 8K video....
@@xiaomify Yes indeed more like the ultra. But when I saw the first leaks of this camera layout pop-up I just imagined some crazy OIS. The fact that it does not work as well with the 8K shows it's just EIS which is really a bummer
I don't mind it being IPS LCD, but I am pretty sure the quality of the IPS LCD in that phone is different than the older one and of course better. It's 2020. Many things get an upgrade. So IPS LCD won't be a major problem.
Here in Indonesia we can get Mi10T Pro 8/256 at $499 and Mi10T 8/128 at ~$429 making it the most affordable 5G phone with Snapdragon 865 and 144hz refresh rate Practically destroys any competition (esp. Samsung with its high price and shitty Exynos chipsets)
The 128GB in Thailand costs only around 400 USD. The 256GB is less than 500 USD. They even gave lots of gifts (Nintendo Switch for a very limited amount) for early birds.
I was the same my Huawei mate 20 pro is amoled and I thought that was awesome but I have no problems with the LCD screen everything looks really good Netflix youtube the lot no complaints here I do find the colours are more saturated on amoled but I took the chance with a phone with LCD and to be honest I'm glad I did 👌
@@jamiejack6916 mi 10t costs around 390$ in my region and currently i own mi note 10 lite. Apart from screen, performance is terrible with lot of ui Shuttering. So, do u think i should opt for mi 10t or not? Moreover, phones like one plus 8t costs 3 times more than mi 10t in my country.
I got the mi 10t pro and I have yet to have a issues with it but saying that I've only had it 6 days I would of gone for another Huawei all day but down to all the new ones not having Google services I didn't bother but this mi 10t pro is fast and refresh rate is awesome so far so good I was was looking at the one plus and the one plus Nord but the specs was good but not as good as the mi10t pro for price range for 390£ it is worth a gamble but in all fairness I'm happy at the moment plus when I done a speedtest on 5g I was having over 1gb per second which is rapid considering I was having 30mbs with 4g on the old phone
No matter how high is refresh rate....lcd panel is a sin with 865 5g processor combo...poor decision...i don't why Chinese companies are so keen to sell smartphones with lcd panel...is it because they can't make amolod display l?
This is actually the first in this Mi 10 Line without a AMOLED display. I was a bit surprised about it. That being said I thought it would be pretty bad, but (even though it is not AMOLED) it was not all that bad and it was a good display..
I will be switching it up sometimes, especially for people that watch all of my videos the same music can become quite a bit daunting. And can you imagine how the editor will feel (me!) hahaha But thanks for the love! This is my own track, so I'm glad to hear people seem to really like that one ;)
I've been using the Macro on my new Mi phone alot. It's only a 2mp, however the pixels themselves are much larger then the other cameras. Despite seeing many people saying using the main camera gets a better result, in my testing actually using the camera for macro photography (surprise!!!) and not just close ups shots the main camera simply can't beat it even in 64MP mode. I take botanical pictures and the level of detail is incredible at its closest focusing distance if you have the patience to setup a good shoot. Its the Redmi Note 8 Pro. I'm hoping by the next time I upgrade there will be much higher MP macro cameras, but I guess its rather niche.
Thanks for the review. I was thinking about Pixel 5, which costs about the same as this phone... But the specs here are way above Pixel Flagship.. so I have something to think about. :-)
People seem upset. While it's not worth upgrading for most. I'll be upgrading from a oneplus 7T and I think it'll be well worth it. xiaomi did good not giving it a curved edge. Those curved edges make my palm press my screen unintentionally.
yeah some are getting a bit more expensive indeed! (-Which I guess was mentioned about a year ago they would do...) However, they still have some cheaper models as well, but won't get you a Snapdragon 865 on the cheaper phones though
Go for Redmi K series or Poco instead if you just want raw performance to price. Xiaomi with its Mi lineup is shifting itself to be ultra-premium which not only means top notch performance but also top notch display, camera, design and build-quality.
Thanks for this great review. Although you probably don't shoot on phone, but I wondered if you could only pick one phone as your filming camera, which one would you go for? Mi 10 pro or Mi 10 T pro?
came here after watching mi10t pro review from another reviewers . they said this LCD almost as good as the amoled tht u cant see the any slightly different . i think they use some kind just like apple puts on ip 11
Graham M, when I turn on Mi 10T Pro and swipe up to open all I get is enter password or emergency telephone number, nothing else, I cannot get to the apps at all, so phone is useless.
@@garriethkwong7130 Whats your phone model? This is generally the problem with Instagram on Android... The app is not optimized -_- I am really annoyed by this issue that it makes me want to own an iPhone! I hope they'll make an affordable mid-range iPhone in the near future :/ And no the SE 2020 sucks because of the small battery and overpowered processor.
Nice review for latest xiaomi mi 10t pro towards all details aspects, this is an awesome phone for every penny paid, sadly for Europe region bcoz this price is only priced at eur 400 for 256gb version launches today, it's crazy isn't it that the price covered any cons this phone have vs its pro wise. Upgrading from my 2.5 years OP6.
I got the xaiomi mi 10T pro yesterday! I have owned iPhone since its launch but now decided to switch. and I must say that I am very happy with the xaiomi mi 10T pro. why pay so much extra to get an iphone when you obviously do not get more for your money!
The battery life (at 60 Hz) is supposedly similar to the POCO F2 Pro which has an AMOLED screen. at 144Hz is has a slightly shorter battery life, but still great due to adaptive sync.
DD: hello Xiaomify. i don't know if this has been asked. but could you tell me who Xiaomi is targetting with their T series? i mean on paper, this phone is at par if not better than the Mi 10 Pro. yes it has LCD, but with better refresh rate. how come it is very affordable compared to Mi 10 Pro? who is it for?
This is a really good phone, however that lcd ips display kinda makes people think about buying it. Still though it has some cool features and i can't wait to see them in the upcoming flagship (mi 11?) It's going to be hell of a phone
For normal person, macro camera has no use for them.. but... For someone who are working with repairing electronic item especially when you want to track the part no of the tiny IC.. UGH.. I really appreciate the macro very much.. TMI - Well, I just rambling on the that tiny-tiny IC on the board.. ugh.. My eyes hurt even when I use magnifying glass.. As an engineer I really² hope that many phone to have very good macro camera.. it a huge help for us..
Depends if you need true 5G. Because S20 FE for most markets only come with slower Sub6 standard. The faster mmWave standard only available for S20 FE selling in USA.
Does this have built in DAC? Are USB-C wired earbuds work on this without converter? Edit: I can't seem to find any resource on google but I supposed it's got something to do with USB Audio 3.0. how do we find it? Even most flagship phones support USB type C 2.0. And USB on the go. But I don't think this relative to USB Audio 3.0?
