Mine have corroded motherboard(?) sticked to the fan... too much mopping and leaking destroyed it. It turned on, worked for 1 minute with loud fan noices and poped up an error about fan, so I did this guide and it worked! Vacuum works quietly and no errors. Thanks!
Thank you so much for making this video! 👍👍👍👍👍😀 I fixed my mi robot vacuum mop essential by following your repair steps. I used super glue plus shrink tubing to prevent the fan from being misaligned again. I think it is a common issue since my other unit had the same problem.
Excelent video! Just finished doing the step by step on my mi vacuum and it worked perfectly! Only thing is that now I have a very loud vibration noise, I guess I'll disassemble again and use some glue on the fan case.
Thank you! It's a shame those units have such problem in the first place, especially when it's that common, but your solution worked perfectly. Just fixed my own device. The problem is indeed with the rotating part within the fan. It can move up and get stuck touching the plastic case above it. Pushing it down and fixing it there solves the issue.
Had the same problems and I fixed it. The thing is now I cant figure out how to reassemble the front bumper. It fell of while disassembling the robot..
You should assemble it and the rails for the bumper should match up and it will fit again. Its very tricky to assemble the bumper but you can get it without bending the metal bits
mine is with an error indicating filter cleaning, even with the filter clean, I believe it's the sensor, I disassembled and cleaned everything inside without success. does anyone know how to solve?
