Hey Folks,
This is a short video of one of my favorite things to do, as I'm sure is also the case for a lot of you who are watching this.
A nice day, no bugs yet, the best dog ever, a nice fire, and a cup of tea! Sure what else could ya want?!
If you like this and want to see more, hit the thumbs up, subscribe, and share it around.
Thanks and see you on the next one!

I agree. I'm not one for watching paint dry but I can watch water boil over a fire all day! 🤙🏻🧡

Babbling on again.. (-: About a decade ago I ran across another live working blacksmith at a reenactment show/actors campout. He sold me a Pigtail hook of 12"+ length, which works perfect for my 3 piece tripod rod using one section/leg. Height adjustment in a jiffy at the upright. ~ Since it looks like you canoe camp often I thought the simple item, although wrought iron-esque would do you well with slightly heavy gear. ~ Any branch of proper dia. stuck to earth yer done, with ez adjustable. Keep your eyes open for one. (-:

I generally only use this method in winter as the snow obviously offers practically limitless options for anchor points. I'll often times make a tripod this time of year and carve a little pot hook so then I can adjust the height to whatever works for what I'm doing.
