You, Mia Morris, la Mia, are more than all those good things people say you are, because I've been working since 3 :00 am on one more stressful issue that I never thought would be visited upon an ancient mariner who has tried to be positive and do positive things in life and for the most part was successful. The municipal government stuck a laminated order to my door 3 days ago saying that I have until noon on Monday to get my lawn cut or I will be subject to a fine of up to $10,000 a day every day that I neglect to do it. The fact that a person asked for $14,000 to cut it in one day when the previous high for a day has been $85.00 made it all seem almost a joke. No sensible person in the world would even try to mow in a thunder and lightening storm such as hasn't been seen or heard here for many years. Bureaucrats get a bit of power and exploit it like like the Judges of Salem. By some undeserving miraculous event I realized I needed help and by pure chance I dialed the number of a person who works for the Department of Justice while at the same time is building a business as a landscape gardener. Not for a moment did he doubt my story. He immediately knew what had to be done with these bureaucrats and did it. Nothing is for sure but he sounds like a person who gets things done. Once the grass is down the stress will go away until next summer. How lucky can some people get. I've always relied on putting in just enough work to make my own luck. I hope this luck holds until I don't need it anymore!!! It must have formed on the gentle side of your heart and blew here with the storm from the south. Although it probably wasn't meant that way at all, the email you sent that softly touched me seems to have spread some goodness among the evil black hearts that lurk everywhere. Mr. Morris wasn't at home. I think that he was recovering from his night of revelry, or whatever. You'll never know, now will I, if you did this, but you are a woman of good graces and I thank whatever wonders that may be for sending some my way. I think I'm rambling🧙‍♂and 🐓and 📐 like an angle man. It seems that my brain is firing on all 4 while I go nowhere. I hate myself when that happens. Then I'm so full of ideas I resent myself for having them. My mind wanders back to the landscape of my soul and I resent my every thought. The short path to the lake with blueberries and blackberries on each side, a shy boy smile listens for the bear that always lived among the rocks in a depression. I could watch the amber grow. A belated "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to you. A true fan, something I've never been before except of stamps, and something I have no idea if I am now, would never forget the birthday of his noise making sweet thing! Just 6 days older than my most recent godchild. As soon as I was able to achieve verticality around 12:30 pm today, I checked my mail because it is theoretically possible someone somewhere would have sent me an email by mistake. There on the boot page was someone's list of the top 25 female drummers of all time. I was familiar with 2. You weren't on the list. I guess women drummers have to wait their turn. Had it been a list of base players, I would have been seriously surprised had you not been on it. You are that good. The tiny sweetie I saw in videos going back to your ones that RU-vid easily produced for me, had me hooked on the line from the beginning. I'm sure you were a climber like my nieces. Start with the foot and with strength and persistence, climbers are soon in the lap, draped over a shoulder, and end up with hands over the eyes with a shriek and smile on the conquering face. The face remained the same until about age 9. By some young magic your growth and image seemed the same until recently. Now you are 19 and your will and the Fates will decide your changes. It has to be that way, and therein lies some bits of sadness that are inevitabilities. But, hey, it's your life, your ambition, your volition and your nickel$$$. I didn't know you were a prodigy, had written 1000 songs by the age of 16, worked 26 hours a day, and reached all those prodigious heights at a young age. I just thought you were a wild and crazy funny little girl running free over fresh mown lawns merrily skipping school to get the big prize at the Dairy Queen. How wrong I was! Have a 2 for one on me at the Dairy Queen. ❤

Vlog # 24 seems like a new departure for Mia. More gigs, more rock, more music! It doesn't seem that our little wildly creative rocker is going to divide her time among competing interests. Writing is a critical part of the road to success. Being an artist requires another set of ideas that she will develop. She's done so many of the things people will expect from her. At some point she has to know that what she issues forth will pay the dividends an artist requires.

Ahh... the old testes monitor routine. Mia - you foul-mouthed little vixen! We had about ten of those cranes going non-stop. Still trying to figure out how they dismantle them. Trying to figure out where they've put all of them solved - Nashville!

Hello Mia. Firstly apologies for being a bit under the radar for a while. Very busy. This latest vlog was amazing and shows just how much you have grown musically. There's a real star quality on show here. Loved the song around 3.20 very much reminded me of Cheap Trick and Enuff Z'Nuff, and that's no bad thing. If you've never checked out Enuff Z'Nuff I can thoroughly recommend. Awesome job working with Lindsey Ell. She's a great artist and like you said, you have learned from her. Looking forward to the next cover you might do. Your drumming is great, by the way, that trick you did bouncing the stick and catching it was cool. If you've never heard of a Swedish band called Self Deception, I recommend a listen to their track call The Shift. I'd love to see you cover that. It would suit your drumming style perfectly.
