Hey guys, Last year I was one of nearly 50 thousand people to audition for The Voice. After countless producer auditions and callbacks I got to the stage where I was offered a blind audition on the show, which not many people get, so I was extremely proud regardless of the outcome. There are four days of auditions and I was the very last person of night with hardly any places left on the teams and one whole day of auditions left. I did not manage to get a turn. This Saturday, I will return to The Voice on BBC 1, in similar circumstances. With limited places left... I will face the scary red chairs again. It's petrifying putting yourself out there knowing it could happen again, but I'm a big girl and I'm gonna sing my heart out. If you want to be nervous with me, tune in at 7:15 so I'm not staring at the chairs on my own... Thank you all for your lovely kind words and support! It really means the world to me! Lots of love to you all and see you all on Saturday night!

Well, it's probably an unpopular opinion, but she had some issues with the tone. She has a good voice indeed, but it weren't enough, and I agree with the judges.

That was so INCREDIBLE 😍 I am downright shocked she didn't get a turn, on the American voice she would have had a 4 chair turn, NO doubt.

She is amazing. Hope she doesnt give up. All the judges regret not turning.

I recommend this girl not to give it up. This was just misunderstanding for coaches not to turn around, You will get there next year for sure.

I've watched a few voice UK auditions and I am often more impressed with the people who they don't turn around for than the ones they do. She has a very unique and strong voice with a lot of range. I can't think of one reason why she shouldn't have gotten at least one chair. If she were in the united states she would have been at least a 3 chair turn. I've seen 4 chair turns that were really weak. I don't understand the judges.

This is the first Voice season I've watched, and I've really enjoyed it but after this woman didn't get through, and after the excuses the judges gave, I threw the remote hard at my LCD. It wasn't just.

I'm not sufficiently au fait with modern pop songstresses to know who this sounds like, but I really felt I had heard this style before - both on the Voice and elsewhere. The snarl in Mia's voice seemed affected to me rather than natural, but I may be doing her a disservice there. Having said that, despite one or two nervy moments and some breathlessness, I thought she showed off what turned out to be a very good voice. I really think if she had been on episode 1 she would have got through. This is where I do wonder about the difficult scheduling decisions the production team must have to make. Inevitably, some great singers are just not going to make it through, and I think that's what we saw with Mia. A real shame.
