Man, isn’t that a sweet unit. I just don’t like how heavy it is, not as good on fuel economy.

The trade off with weight is it smooths out the ride at the cost of fuel efficiency.

@@TheBigDanShowwhen you mentioned getting another boat I thought about that. I prefer the JetSki life boat if I were to get a center console I’d opt for something more powerful than twin 150s. As for performance though I’ve always been willing to sacrifice top speed for less cavitation and more acceleration. In other words I want something that will hook and go. On my family’s boat we run a 4 bladed prop as apposed to 3 for the better fuel efficiency at mid range RPM. Very rarely do we operate at WOT

Yeah, those are power poles. They act as a shallow water anchor. Pretty neat.
