As the Dallas Cowboys weigh their options in the upcoming NFL Draft, the possibility of selecting running back Jaylen Wright is generating excitement, with a compelling film study suggesting that he could be a monumental steal for the team. Here are the key findings from the film study:
Breakaway Speed: Wright's film showcases an electrifying burst of speed, potentially providing the Cowboys with a home-run threat in the backfield. His ability to accelerate quickly and break away from defenders could add a big-play element to the team's offense.
Elusive Open-Field Moves: Analyze Wright's open-field moves and agility, emphasizing his ability to navigate through defenders with ease. Such elusiveness could make him a challenging target for opposing defenses and a valuable asset in open-field situations.
Vision and Decision-Making: Highlight Wright's vision and decision-making skills, showcasing his ability to read blocks and find running lanes effectively. This could contribute to a more dynamic and versatile rushing attack for the Cowboys.
Value in Later Rounds: Discuss the potential steal factor, considering that Wright may be available in later rounds. If the Cowboys can secure his talent beyond the first round, it could be a strategic move that offers significant value.
As the Cowboys contemplate their draft strategy, the film study suggests that Jaylen Wright could be a game-changing addition to the team's backfield. If selected, Wright has the potential to be a steal of the draft, providing the Cowboys with an explosive playmaker capable of reshaping the dynamics of their running game.

Me too, Jaylen is 5' 11" 210 pounds with 4.31 speed. I would love to sign Derrick Henry and pair him with Wright, I think that would be a hell of a duo.

I like the tape. I haven't seen a full game of him yet. Right now, my top 4 backs in the draft are Trey Benson Blake Corum Marshon Lloyd Braelon Allen
@petepanagiotopoulos1350
@petepanagiotopoulos1350 4 месяца назад
@@infinity818425 I do like Corum a lot and I forgot about Marshawn Lloyd. Corum is a little better than people think, He's got 4.38 speed and is extremely powerful for a 213 lb guy. Marshawn is also similar to Corum, he only lacked the touches that Corum got. Benson worries me, he suffered a catastophic knee injury in 2020. Benson tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus and some said he would never be the same player. I rather go with somebody without that on their resume.

I really like this kid. One thing I love about him is when he knows contact is coming, he covers up the ball with his free hand. And I see so many fumbles exactly because RBs haven’t been taught this as a fundamental. I’d love to get this kid and pair him with a thumper. Now THAT would be a running game!

@CFOSports Hey my man thanks a million for your mentioning Jay and for your fair analysis as well. You hit it head on on so many aspects. Such a great job. We enjoy your content and we'll keep looking for even more analysis. Jay's right at 6ft or a quarter inch less. His playing weight has long since been 215lbs but he's shed a pound or two over these past two months combine training. His medical is great bc he actually never ever had a injury until mid season. He's been medically cleared just now bc he did have a slight procedure on one finger of his "non dominant" hand. That's all it was and he's never ever had any lower body surgeries or shoulder surgeries or things of that sort. Yes he's easily a 4.3 guy. He ran track in high school and he dominated the nation in short sprints. He'll run 4.3 or a high 4.2 as you yourself feel and if not it's only bc he hasn't done speed work in 3.5 years. At his size...no one's catching him. He can catch better than Odell Beckham in his prime. He runs a full route tree but UT didn't ask these things of him. UT didn't utilize most of his skillset but what did work out for him was a great year, no major injuries, and low tread. He's still growing so he's only getting better...and similar to Tom Brady if a team overlooks him...he'll make mental note. He'll make them pay and you can mark my words on that. He can do every single thing that every one of the other 28 invitees can do but they can say the same. He's the most athletic explosive back in this years draft. Thank me later. Thank you once again.

Also important to note: He was 1 of 3 running backs Tennessee used. He probably got 40-50% of the carries. The lack of carries is why his stats aren't crazy impressive/not getting much attention. But that and only being 20 years old, means he is very fresh compared to a typical NFL rookie.

Seeing that orange and white checkered endzone always brings back memories. But yea, get that guy.
