Having waited 51 years to finally go to a Dolphin home game, that Tennessee game will forever be etched in my memory; with 3 minutes to go, we were ahead by 13 or 14 points; then the defense seemingly just laid down. I was so upset!!

It definitely takes time for players and coaches to develop. Some Phins fans aren’t willing to give Tua and McDaniel time and that’s what they need to the most. It’s a learning process.

Hard to be consistent as a QB when your O-Line is Swiss cheese by end of the season due to injuries every year and no depth.

The reason Kyler Murray wouldn’t shake Tuas hand is because he knows that he stole Tuas Heisman Trophy in 2018 and he had just lost to him in that game to verify that it actually belonged to Tua. Now Kyler goes home every day to look at a trophy and know for a fact that it wasn’t even supposed to be his. The only reason Kyler had prettier stats that year is because Tua didn’t play a single snap in the 4th Quarter of any game until after week 7, and Kyler was in a shootout with or losing against the equivalent of those same teams every week.

My problem with Tua’s lack of consistency is that he goes through these weird peaks where he’s the best qb in the league and then turns around and looks like he has no business being on a football field. Like there’s no middle ground at all. But reason made a good point about McDaniel so I think this may be a result of the HC and QB being “off” at the same time which ends up making the whole team look bush league. If McD can change the philosophy around some and lean on the run game and let tua work off that then they’ll get that monkey off their back. Bc I think the defense will be way better than last year if not borderline elite.
