@@PAPERWEIGHTPRODUCTIONS it’s very hard trying to help “adults” in hoods because their minds are already made up. So folks should support his channel because he’s definitely helping. He helped me when he came to my neighborhood and allowed me to use his platform and it helped my channel
From hood to hood in America. Most interviews are the same. Grown men in their 30s and 40s bragging about how people get killed in front of their house, throwing up gang signs, and saying things like “we in the trenches”
The dude with the red underwear, judging on his short attention span, loud disruptive voice, rambling on not making any sense, compulsive lying and potbelly, I'd say he's a daily alcoholic, drinks cheap beer all day and hangs out in those alleys lying about everything and more then likely in and out of their local county jail for lil misdemeanor offenses !!!
I was irritated at first that the big dude had the attention span of a toddler but I had to check myself and realize that mental health issues run rampant and undiagnosed in the hood. I have not lived his life so I can’t judge. He seems to be dealing with arrested development and stuck in a perpetual teenage cycle. That’s unfortunate and I wish them the best.
And showing 50% of his underwear . It likely never crosses their minds to walk around their area there and pick up the trash to put into the dumpster. Clean up IS the 1st step in evolving. I live in a mixed area in south florida just north of Miami and i go outside and pick up the trash too often that morons just toss onto the ground , and i'm cursing the entire time out loud hoping the local losers see and hear it.
I’m from the projects but i left that mentality when i was a teenager still. Anybody with the hood mentality still is stuck in an old world. There’s too much technology…there are so many ways to not have to be hood no more.
I've gotten so much more out of Charlie's reporting than decades worth of legacy media. IMO, this is REAL journalism and hopefully the future good of what digital content can bring us. Thank you sir.
Why don't you thank him by using ur ytprivilege to undue centuries of institutional racism and the mass-hobbling of the blk community, native Americans.... "Hoods" are just an open-air reservation.
He says he's been shot eight times and did four years in jail for a murder he didn't commit and still can't decide what's the worst thing that's happened to him.
Watching from Ireland. There's a real parallel between the folks that live in these neighbourhoods and the Irish travellers that we have here. Same sense of fraternity mixed with hostility. One of the best channels I've found in recent years. All the best.
I’m from Miami Dade county. I have to say that this interview was hard to watch. The guy in the red underwear with the dirty wife beater was showing off for the camera. Kept wiping his face with the nasty sweaty shirt. He was extra and saying things the didn’t make any sense. His attention span was really short . He also wanted to seem very tough and act like he was a hood celebrity. I watched until the end because I couldn’t believe the amount of ignorance I was hearing.
I wish that guy would shut up, and let the guy with the dreads talk. Dang, he talks too damn much. I can tell he’s insufferable to be around the way he interrupts, and doesn’t let anybody get a word in.
Its kinda tribal they have little to call their own so their "turf" is sacred ground and something they can be proud of. I'm sure they will die for it. Its pathetic and sad how this grown man acts but I feel if he had other options his life would of been much different. I just hope they can find some peace in their lives.
@@brenetssss maybe.. but one of my life long bros is good example. Hos parents are big time people of faith. Went around the world building orphanages and such. His dad was also CEO of a very successful company. My bros brother and sister did very well. One runs a company and the other is actually a lawyer. Yet my bro ended up covered in tattoos and in and out jail by the time he was 15.. and although he's calmed down.. we are both 50 now.. he has very much lived a wild life completely opposite from what the rest of his family was about
He was telling Charlie about a documentary he was planning on making, then when he saw his friend he said “this for my documentary” He a first class liar & everyone in that hood knows it
Nah this how dam near every unc in Dade county is , rollin of em M's talkin loud than a bish and cat calling the same hoes you don knew ya whole dam life
He said 2010, he is right because between 2007-2012 were the Worst times at Pork N Beans, these Projects were shown on Many Miami Episodes of The First 48.
@@ThroughMyEyesASMR While it's true we are born with the ability to question ideals many of us are eventual taught to not question them and just go along "do as I say and not as i do" is drilled into a lot of us from a young age and becomes firmly cemented into us in adulthood. Some time some of us are fortunate enough to run into someone helps bring us back to the orginal mindset.
@@Woodgang147 Actually a lot of blacks from island and Africa do like working which builds strength keeps you healthy along with keeping your mind sharp, the problem is when you over work yourself.
Our people are so messed up and brainwashed and institutionalized in their minds. Proud to have grown up in the slums of the state. One of the absolute poorest and dysfunctional projects in America and he is proud of it. A grown man still living in the projects. Maybe a kid not able to control his situation being stuck in the projects, I understand. But these grown fools is shameful to and for black men.
I agree. It's actually pathetic to see what LBJ and the democrats have done to the black family. This guy is PROUD of growing up on taxpayer money. PROUD that he's STILL doing it. It's beyond pathetic.
I thank my great-grandparents and grandparents for leaving this 80 years ago and settling in Ohio. I thought my life was boring growing up on quiet straights and going to quiet schools. I couldn't imagine coming up in this environment with dudes like these two.
These two couldn't make themselves sound more unintelligent. That kid in the back is smiling the whole time because he knows these two are goofy as hell. 🤣🤣🤣
When I saw these guys I see mental health issues and sadness I never lived in the hood but I see a lot of pain they let their environment get to them it’s sad
@@thomasericson3970 Awe did I hurt your feelings? Make you wanna riot? Besides if I work so millions on welfare don’t have to, you are at least gonna hear about it.
Miami life is different from your lifestyle of living. A black man can be in the hood all day and have a couple of $100,000's of dollars put up... You know nothing dude.
@@thomasericson3970 Haha, $100,000 I bet they pay taxes on that….. I’m sure they are upstanding citizens you’re right, I’m wrong lol thanks for the laugh pal.
@@thomasericson3970 But is that lifestyle really worthwhile when their lives (and the lives of their children/friends/loved ones) are at risk? $100k doesn’t mean anything when you’re not building your future with it.
I wish dude would've answered your questions instead of immediately getting distracted by someone or something and blowing you off lol dude with dreads was in it tho.
This interview wasn't to informative or sensible but for some reason i enjoyed it, didn't learn a lot but found these bizarre characters very interesting.
I sometimes can't believe these scenario's are real life for a lot of people. This is beyond sad. Especially because they still think the "lifestyle" is cool at their age...
Notice the new cars in the projects? The ones that I worked with didn't believe or want the responsibility that goes with home ownership. While I drove a hooptie to work, which they laughed at. They drove very high end expensive vehicles. When we left work. I drove my hooptie to a house. When they left they drove expensive vehicles to projects!
@@rasulsamad5860 Since when do you look at facts? You want one pal. How often do you see or hear BLM say anything about the double digit killings weekly in Chicago? You one of the racist clowns trying to blame dysfunctional behavior on everything else. Now bother someone else!
just when u come dont leave south beach. miami dade dont talk about it but when touring leave south beach they always get robbed. miami is actually dangerous asf
Sagi, please don't let this deter you from visiting Miami, you have to be careful know matter where you go. He only show the worst of the worst and yet (The majority are hardworking, educated, and responsible people) that live in these low income neighborhoods. His nterviews only seem to cater to men (not women) not to mention he seem to cater to the ones that are not doing anything but perpetuating the stereotypes that society already believe that exit about our culture. In his interviews try also interviewing, educated, working, responsibile people within these communities who are trying too and are doing everything to dispell a lot of the misconceptions. All I'm saying is your youtube subscriber numbers are going up but the accurate depiction of our culture is not. Be socially conscience and aware when depicting any culture.
@@koffee9228 Wrong, as a Miami local, SOBE is the last place I want to go to. Stats show Miami Beach crime rate is way worst. In Miami Dade, avoid anything Northeast, some areas of North Miami, use common sense around Wynwood, Downtown area, Homestead/Florida City (these two must avoid @ night time) is too far for tourists anyway, but must be mentioned.
Their hood is exactly 4 min away from my house and as a black guy... it kinda saddens me to see them like this but it also motivates me to never be in their position.
These guys are wonderful tour guides. He didn't have to pay a fee for the tour around the the block. Such gentlemen leading the youth and interpreting violence.
Alot of ppl didn't make it in them projects man that shit so legendary my sister stayed over there for just a while she move couldn't handle that shit you gotta be built for that or just mind your business Miami got so much history 💯 if you ain't from Dade you wouldn't understand

I need to know who tf is in charge of paint colors in the hood? N why they always decide houses n buildings in the hood need to be ridiculous colors like bright ass pink and green and blue? 😐
