@@VirtCam Flying for Jamaica soon, have a connecting flight to another Caribbean island... Would like to see the directios from exiting the gate, to the Non-citizens check point, then to baggage claim, then baggage recheck and then where I'd go to catch my connecting flight, thanks.

Put a request through modify booking. There should be an option for wheelchair there, and when you get to the airport, that’s the first thing you are going to ask about.

Hey JJ, starting about 10 years ago or so Customs at MIA is now done at random as opposed to everyone having to scan their bags. While you are collecting your bags and leaving CBP agents are watching you and can approach you to search your bags. The agents at 5:44 are looking at all the passengers for any suspicious behaviour.

i just connected in miami also coming from the caribbean, this is the exact same process you HAVE TO DO to connect to a domestic flight, and yes that means going OUT of the airport AND back thru a TSA checkpoint, Ive connected at SFO, LAX, SEA, JFK, ATL, BOS and many others and have NEVER had to go out of the airport and back thru TSA just to connect to a domestic flight. Horrible design. We landed at 3;15 PM and didnt get to our gate until 7:30 PM. i will never fly into miami from outside of the US

All international arrivals to the US besides those coming from a foreign airport with CBP preclearance (e.g., Dublin, Shannon, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Bermuda, and a few other select international airports with direct flights to the US) MUST clear customs and immigration and then go through TSA before transiting to their final destination by plane. It's a huge pain, sure, but it's long been standard operating procedure in the USA and will likely remain so for decades to come,

Thats a good question I should have taken note. Maybe someone else can help comment.
