North Carolina improved to 6-0 with a 41-31 win over the Miami Hurricanes. The Tar Heels offense was balanced and effective with 273 air yards and 235 yards on the ground. QB Drake Maye threw for 273 yards and 4 touchdowns, 3 of which went to Tez Walker in his second game as a Tar Heel. Walker caught 6 passes for 132 yards as well as the 3 TDs. UNC RB Omarion Hampton rushed 24 times for 197 yards and a touchdown and caught a touchdown as well in the win. Miami QB Tyler Van Dyke threw for 391 yards and 4 touchdowns, including a pair to WR Xavier Restrepo who hauled in 11 catches for 96 yards.
