"I am a shark scientist, marine biologist, and underwater explorer specializing in marine conservation with a particular interest in elasmobranch research. I chose to study marine biology to gain a better understanding of the natural world and how I can help save our worlds creatures. My research supports targeted efforts for shark conservation and healthy oceans in order to give our worlds sharks a healthy home for the future. My goal is to change the public’s perception on sharks by breaking common shark misconceptions and inspiring the public to protect sharks and our precious oceanic ecosystems."
