Where you've got gaps the instructions recommend using a heat gun making the lip malleable so it moulds to the bumper & using double-sided taope to hold it in position. You can then screw the lip in place (starting from the centre & working your way to the sides) to acheieve a perfect fit.

It’s an R lip package 📦 miata oem lip. But a lot of aftermarket brands copied this thing so you can buy them everywhere

Not all of them will have a little lip on the bottom tho that you can drill into if you want to mount a splitter or anything. Gotta return my eBay one now and get the real oem replica by r speed. He got lucky tho, it looks like his eBay r pack lip has the extra lip on the bottom to mount a spoiler if he wanted

another tip for the lip install is to leave it in the sun for a couple hours. it will soften it up and make it easier to forum.

Yes the R package was an option for some NA's from factory. Also came with a rear lip and spoiler.

Wow this one’s actually good. Looks like it has the lip on the bottom side of the lip to to let you mount spoilers into. Mine from eBay didn’t have the lip

Lic Plate at side looks fugly. Plus NAs never had holes drilled into clip!! Yikes! They came with framed bracket. Bend and modify them to keep plate 90% out of air stream below mouth. Would show but can’t load pic. Thanks. Nice lip install.

California state law is that vehicles need to have both plates displayed, one in front and one inthe back

nooo you shouldn't have put more holes into the bumper to relocate the license plate :( Garagestar & Project G make a license plate relocation for that purpose.
