My BROKE NOT POOR EXPERIENCE manze ni saa hii,so I've just landed a job,moved from my dad's house. Niko na kila kitu,gas(brand new),flour,oil,omena,eggs,like everything apart from sufurias. Acha nikwambie I was called to Lenana school, but couldn’t make it. My father took me to a local mechanic to learn the mechanic course. Finally nikafanyiwa harambee and went to Local school. Studied for three years and booked national exam. I remember my mother telling me, walking barefoot doesn’t mean you can’t conquer. At that time it was almost illegal to dream.

There was a time when my pockets were empty, but my spirit remained unbroken. I lived on creativity, turning obstacles into opportunities and making magic out of little. Despite having nothing, I discovered the richness in laughter, love, and perseverance. Being broke taught me that wealth isn't measured by what you have but by how fiercely you live when you have nothing.

Back in my campus days in cuea, I once had only 200 bob to last the whole week. I bought a packet of unga and some sukuma, and that’s all I ate ugali and sukuma for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. By Wednesday, I was already dreaming of chapati, but I had to wait until my next HELB disbursement. On Friday, I found a forgotten 50 bob in my pocket and treated myself to a smoky and a soda from the kibanda. It wasn’t much, but it felt like a feast after that week of hustling.
