Gentle brushing on the mice is absolutely the best! As a person that is easily overwhelmed the brushing sound is so soothing. Both with or without the mic cover. However, you are absolutely right, the covers make a softer sound🥰 Thank you for the video Maria❤️

I love seeing people's authentic personality come through in ASMR; it makes it feel more like art than a tingles competition. I think these mics pick up sounds like tapping in a more satisfying way, but the other microphone works better for your soft spoken (whisper is great in either set up!)

I struggle with it so much!! It can be so difficult. Any other substance that I’ve found myself using as a crutch(alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana), I can and have cut out completely with very little issue. But I can’t just cut out food. The moderation is the difficulty! I love when people can show up as their authentic selves. Thank you for sharing and thank you, Maria for using your platform in such a positive way!

I love seeing your personality shine through in this video! Can I ask a personal question? I had a baby just under a year ago and I'm still finding it difficult to feel like my own person outside of being a mother. Even just from watching your content you seem so self assured, well rounded and confident. I guess I'm just wondering if there was anything you did to hold on to your own personhood, or does it just get easier to find yourself again as they get older? Dear Carly, our kiddos are the best new chapters in our loves, aren't they? I too had a lot of trouble finding my "new" self after a baby, I honestly think around 3 year mark is when I started to finally see it, until then I had no idea what I was supposed to do with MY life or what style to take on. It'll take time is what I'm saying. And I'm still in the process of truly redefining my new self. Learning more about personal style, life views, new hobbies, it takes time, it's a part of discovery. Hugs, momma, I feel you!

I'm the same way with sweets. I went camping and "accidentally" brought home the s'mores stuff. So I've been just casually eating s'mores at home cause I don't know how to stop or throw them away. I love these mics! Such a relaxing video.

I loved this! So chill and fun, the thumbnail drew me in for sure! So excited and bright :) I agree that the "s" sound was not harsh, however, I think the mic also blocked out some of the "clickiness" of the other whispered sounds. The whisper was kind of quiet, but the soft spoken was nice because it wasn't ever too loud... I hope that helps! I love that pink wrap/mask thing because it provides both squishy and sticky sounds. I thought everything sounded good. Very interesting how those mics have those sort of 'dead' spots on the sides. PS - I took a shot every time you told me to and now I'm hammered. ;-P

These mics are amazing. They are “crispy and crunchy” and I could hear the sounds so clearly like I was right there. Lovely. Every sound item gave me tingles. I really liked the brushes without the foam protectors. But I liked all the other sounds and speaking with the foam protectors. Thank you for sweating it out for us. Those are some great vocal mics! I’m not sure how much equalizing and compression you do in post, but I’d leave the attenuation at 0dB on the microphones and to reduce white noise I’d use the high pass filter at 40hz. If you’re increasing the volume in post it also raises the noise floor i.e. the white noise and it’s a bit much compared to the volume of your voice

It does make sense because it is literally a "wave of sound" 😉 Tiny air particles colliding, turned into electricity, then light, then UNDER THE OCEANS then back into a tiny mosh pit inside your ear. It's a miracle 🥳

You're so good at every type of video! Your roleplays and more structured videos are amazing, but so are your impromptu and spontaneous videos. Even when you get super excited, you're still relaxing! 23:00 I've been watching ASMR for years, since it was the whisper community. I don't think I've ever paid attention to the verticality of sound before. Most creators are focused on the horizontal axis, switching from left to right or front and back. Honestly Maria I adore these microphones! I feel like sometimes a more “raw” sound is a beautiful palette cleanse. ☺️💕 I also love how they picked up the “behind your ears” effect - so tingly! ✨🫶🏻 (Edit) Also your nails on the mics 🤤🤤🤤

These mics give a more accurate behind the ear effect than your other mics in my opinion. The S sounds aren't bad, I wouldn't have noticed if you didn't say anything and I have pretty bright sounding headphones. These mics sound pretty great. My only complaint with them is that the really loud sounds, like close up soft speaking, sometimes come through a bit unnatural like a speaker is reproducing them. Maybe could be fixed with lower gain? Or just being careful not to speak too loudly too close. I can hear you very well at any distance in this video. The clarity of your voice goes up a noticeable amount with the filters off.

I think these mics are really good at picking up the crispness of crinkle sounds, the plastic covered sponge was TO DIE FOR and I quite enjoy the sharpness of certain consonants, the mics were crisp and clear and DELISH

I enjoyed the middle setting and the "mushroom" setting on these, but I think I prefer your old mics personally. But these were not bad by any means.

Much as I still love this channel and still admire Maria's genius after well over a decade as a subscriber and supporter, let's just say that it is sad that Ukrainians have to endure different kinds of "Russian snacks" these days, whether they like it or not. Then again, maybe they're just "Putin snacks". Either way, the tragedy should be acknowledged, especially by Russian expats with genuinely global influence. That would help so much especially in Russia, where compassionate dissent has been utterly crushed by the gangster-President. Yet they have all remained silent even though they are free to speak. Why?
