Hi everyone!! Today I am using mica shift (shocker) to create this beautiful flower polymer clay pendant. The clay that I am using is Magenta Pearl and Graphite, both by Premo Accents. Hope you enjoy this simple tutorial!

The metallic clay makes such huge difference. It is gorgeous when you start creating mica shift and the resin which I put on top elevates it to a different level. Thank you so much, Poonam!

I love supplies that I can multi task with because I want to know that I am getting a good deal!! This stamp is the one that I will absolutely stand behind. I don't know if you make cards but if you do, you can use it as a background for your card and just a greeting to it and be done with the card. And boy, all the jewelry I made with it and people would not know that it is the same stamp that I am using over and over again. Thank you so much for watching, Cathy!

@@joannascorner4478 I do make cards and calendars. I have used some of my Stampin' Up stamps for a few of my polymer clay pieces. 😊

@@cathyrezba3132 I used to be a SU demonstrator back in the day. I don't know if you have their stamp set called High Tide? I have used the water imprint on few of my pieces.

Hello Lisa! Thank you so much for watching my video. If you browse thru my channel, you will find quite a few videos with so called "mica shift" technique. Actually, I have a play list with all my pieces with mica shift because it's one of my favorite techniques on polymer clay. It is a name of a technique. You don't use mica powder per se, but you use metallic clay which has mica in it. You roll out metallic clay and stamp an image on it. You then take a blade and start shaving off all the parts that are sticking up until the clay is smooth. When done correctly, when your clay is smoth after all the pieces are shaved off, you will still see the stamped image in the metallic clay. Having said that, I have had the best success using metallic Clay from sculpey. Let me know if I was able to clarify this technique a bit more. Maybe it is just easier if you watch some of my older videos on it. Let me know if you get a chance to try it.

Beautiful effect. It would be easier to shave if the clay was stuck to a tile.

Thank you so much my friend. I likely rolled it out on 4 of the pasta machine. You just need to make sure that the top color is super thin. Have a beautiful day!

Hi Chrystal! I got it from Simond Says Stamp. It is called Ornate background stamp. I have used this stamp more than any other stamp and I stamp a lot. It's a great buy!
