Micah Parsons has been active this offseason. In this segment we discuss why his Dallas Cowboys teammates should be worried about their position on the team after hearing his latest interview.. #dallascowboys #micahparsons #thedakattack
You're spot on. Love DQ for what he did but he reached his ceiling. Parsons wants to be a winner and he's sending a pretty direct message by calling D Law out directly. This is the second time this off season Parsons has mentioned him. He contradicted D Law when he said they were TIRED. Now he's calling out the penalties. Zimmer is going to be on him. And dead weight..... I think that people like Neville Gallimore, Dorance Armstrong, and I hate to say it, Michael Gallup could all have fit that description.
Micah is so blunt… thats why I love him!!!! But I agree with Micah 100% Dak attack. Even going back to the romo days silly penalties and just over all silliness has all ways stopped our team.
I’ve been extremely critical of Micah being so available to the media but this is the best I’ve heard him… he’s 100% correct… the little things have cost us along with our inability to stop the run and control the line of scrimmage
Yes and NO...The issue is Quinn had to try and coach around not having linebackers and a replacement for Gilmore who played hurt..and well part of his issue is he spent all week applying for jobs and Jerry let him but it is also an impossible task for a coach to game plan around... carrying THREE LBs on a guy who was ALWAYS hurt instead of the normal FIVE meant the season was over IN THE OFF SEASON...Just like last year we went into the season with ONE NFL running back, ONE NFL receiver, and ONE fringe backup Noah Brown who is REALLY slow which is why he was a like a 7th round pick and we only drafted him that high because he was Zeke's friend. This year if we dont add one or two starting DTs and a decent running back...THIS season is over no matter HOW good it looks in the regular season
@@briandaniel931 I sound goofy because I think penalties/discipline has hurt us as well as our inability to stop the run and run the football? Or because I didn’t like Micah talking so much?
@kingbyblood215 human beings having conversation with other human beings has absolutely nothing to do with their ability to play football. The Dallas Cowboys is a football team Michael Parsons was not the reason the Dallas Cowboys could not stop the run. I am a human having a conversation with you and I guarantee you it is not stopping me from doing my job at work today.
@@briandaniel931 didn’t say he’s not allowed to do anything… He’s an adult. He can do whatever he wants… does that mean I have to like the face of our defense saying things like “the eagles are the best team in the nfl” weekly? No… I never said it’s stopping him from doing anything… I def didn’t say him talking is preventing him from stopping the run… He doesn’t stop the run cuz he’s a pass rusher on running downs instead of a linebacker… that is a Dan Quinn problem
MANNNN I cannnnnot WAIT to see Overshown hit the field. I was so damn excited last year. We get to watch out LB room actually grow this year. It’s about to be HOT FIRE on that defense.
Out of all the guys we drafted last year Demarvion Overshown is the I couldn't wait to see before he got injured. I can't wait to see what he's going to bring to the defense
Coaching has been trash in Dallas since Parcells left. Carrott top should have been fired after his 3 straight 8-8 seasons but he lasted almost a decade.
I loved everything Micah Parsons said and I think he is becoming a leader of the team that's what needs to happen because this guy is discipline for real Dac Attack 💯
What I appreciate about Micah is that he at least thinks before he speaks or gives his opinion on the Cowboys or any other team. I don't know what makes fans mad at what he says.
I've watched a 1000+ games of the cowboys and the recent past (last year and beyond) have me saying "not another penalty ". They have made a lot of mistakes in crucial times in very important games and it sucks. Thank you and have a good day sir!
NFL Network had a replay of the Detroit v Dallas game last night and who was it that jumped offside negating the interception on the 2nd two-point conversion attempt? He wears #11. Micah needs to stop talking and worry about himself. Coaching and mental mistakes have been this team's mantra since the Garrett days. They had 14 accepted penalties against the 49ers in that home playoff loss two years ago but no one says shit about that, they just want to destroy the QB. Sam Williams is a bonehead!!!
I remember watching Parcels press conference and talk about how to limit penalties. That’s how long it’s been going on. The problem is two fold. Maybe this changes year this but our Teams have always been built top heavy. Meaning if a starter is making mental errors, it’s hard to pull them because the delta between starter and the back up is too great. I don’t think every talented player has the mental make up to play for the cowboys given that we are always in the spotlight and on TV. If we play a team that’s 0-12, they will play their best game of the season against the cowboys. I can’t put my finger on it but there is certain mental makeup required to playing with the cowboys
Discipline is over looked i truly believe that and The boys need it It probably literally cost them a few games which leads to not being able to rest guys cause you still trying to win division when you should have already had wrapped up
Man micha need to show up against good teams too i mean where he at in the playoffs ? I mean he not wrong about what he said overall but dont talk if u aint showing up either
I've been saying that we have discipline issues since Mike McCarthy became the head coach. We have led the league in penalties and McCarthy hasn't done anything about it. Mike McCarthy was a coach (assistant as well) for two teams that beat us. Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers. Look it up. Watch when Mike McCarthy is on the camera calling plays. The playbook isn't really covering his mouth. An announcer was in the booth and the Dallas Cowboys were near their opponents goal line. Dak was "Red 42, Red 42.." and the announcer called the play that was run. The announcer said "Run on the right side". People... Mike McCarthy is not a good coach. He changed the cadence last year to "Here we go" because he just found out the opponents knew his plays. The defensive coordinator did what he did on purpose. Any man could see the Packers were running the ball down our throat. Ray Charles would have realized this is a playoff game and adjusted Micah Parsons. Micah even told the media that he was told to be in a bad position. No one listens. Watch McCarthy call plays and the playbook isn't covering his mouth...watch.
I saw in the Draft that the Cowboys are taking smart players, like Tyler Guyton, Cooper Beebe, Marist Liufau, etc. Besides good - great athletes, they are acquiring men who were leaders on their college teams, so they already have an idea of discipline, both team and individual. #DC4L
Kinda makes that reporting from former TE Dalton Schultz when he talked about the environment here in dallas around our training facilities and in practice etc. WOW! But hey Zimmer don't play!
As a fan I'm pretty philosophical, 12 and 5 is definitely getting your money's worth and to be in it till the last three games is a also value for money. Then there's context, winning the NFC east last year was a major accomplishment, looked like Philly had it locked for most of the season. Almost a conference championship, who would have thought that after the San Francisco game?
Micah is being a real leader right here. He’s calling players out publicly meaning he’s also doing it privately. I’m excited about what I’m hearing. He wants to win and don’t care who he has to throw under the bus to achieve the desired results
Lmao his production went down so he’s trying to stay relevant with the media. We’ve seen this same play over and over. It’s literally how you get the big contract.
@@jamesjacobs-sj2il yeah the production went down but what is the why. Coaching matters. Were adjustments made? DQs M O is fast starts and sputtering to the finish line. Look at the defenses production and how it faded going into the postseason.
Micah, is very intelligent. He will tell you actually what is going on without really say your names. Penalties has always been our issues. Offense and defense. Has to fix up those penalties overall. I truly believe that these men will be much better with Penalties. Let us just what an see how our Boys be. That game was Seattle all them penalties. Yes DLaw had an penality there and so had Micah . Period we have to fix up on penalities. So just let them last season penalities go andd wait and see if we improve in penalties this season. Period
He’s right. However, the interviewer should have asked,”Do you consider yourself as part of the discipline problems on this team?” And then directly bring up Micah’s poor playoff performances in every single playoff game he’s been in aside from the one against the Bucs.
Let's put this into perspective. All the shortcomings the 'Boys suffered through have come full circle straight to the HC. He's ultimately responsible for the assistant coaches as well as the players. Blame who you want, but his inability to scheme during a game, is his downfall. It's happened too many times bro.
Honestly if Micah felt like it was the “little things” they need to fix, then this dude would be with the team right now and not on a publicity tour with CJ Stroud.
Play calling on both sides os the dam ball is the biggest!!! We play a cretain way all year amd get there, then we play a whole diff way when we are there!! Just keep doing what got you there and make slight adjustments!!!
Micah is correct! Dallas hasn't had championship discipline since Jimmy! When the coach isn't empowered the players lose discipline. Another year of it coming soon
Not to mention, D-Law has not had double digit sack totals in years. What is the point in paying him pass rusher money with no results. grossly overpaid in regards to his production. Should have been traded years ago in my opinion
I just want to say M. Parsons is right but if it wasnt for D Law we would have lost that game. He made stops on crucial 4th down plays at the end of the game. I just think when playoff time comes we really go down hill
I have ño problem with anything Micah had to say ,you get out what you put in and this penalty shit is old ,it's about time someone said something about it .
My only thing is micah rode hard for quinn as a coach, maybe since he sees zimmer he sees a difference, but only truth will be on the field and nothing else, see what happens
I love my Boyz but being held accountable is what makes a better man I mean didn’t they have an attitude of after every win they would say we still 0-0 so if that’s the attitude then the excuse of I make plays so the bad ones don’t matter shouldn’t be a thing
Honestly, I think Micah realized he can't go 100% every single play because he's not going to have a longevity career and make a lot of money. There's been linebackers before that came in with his same intensity and kept it the whole time and they were out of the league within a couple of years. It's a physical sport and he plays a very, very physical position
Sam Williams improved a lot from a DE standpoint, especially as it relates to penalties. His issues were on special teams, where he should not have been playing anyway. The lack of LBS on the roster forced him into those special teams reps and his lack of experience showed.
I'll be d*** I.I'll needed to hear that I need to hear that because this team leadership I hope this a wake up call for his teammates and say hey we're not doing this shit anwe're going to step it up
Dak Attack, I agree with Micah, but I think it is a bit rigged against us. Micah is held on almost every play, and it is blatant, but no calls go our way. I am not saying the NFL is rigged but it's leaning towards being scripted like the WWE. Just my opinion. Keep up the great work. GO COWBOYS!!!
Interesting but micaj never held himself accountable.. how about the time he jumped offsides against the Lions and almost HANDED them the GAME.. in a very critical situation.. smh how about MICAH not being that good against the run and committing to being more than a guy who just wants to rush the passer all game and instead become a team defensive guy who is about getting the opponent off the field on 3rd down.. micah is basically becoming LEBRON JAMES!! I see it clearly.. which means his style of leadership will be to throw anyone else up under the bus and protect my own brand at all costs no matter what..
I will say since tank got that money from his 2017 season he has fallen off I need that tank back asap he was a great run stopper great pass rusher but his productivity has dip and others as well put micah in the lb position he was drafted for and let tank do his thang I know im gonna rub some the wrong way but we should of keep randy
It starts with the owner not hiring coaches who will instill REAL DISCIPLINE. Jerry BOX OFFICE Jones is the Cowboy's real problem. Your owner can't be the face of the franchise. As long as the stadium is full and the franchise's valuation continues to climb, Jerry can handle losing.
Naw Dak Attack Those pennies was not on Sam Williams. There was bad cause every call was a bad call. They caught on Sam once because he actually hit the people like Playing football supposed to Be
The more he talks on dumb podcasts and media, the worse his legacy will become. There's a sense of proffesionalism that is lacking in the league now. The athleticism is there, ther is no doubt but the maturity in the spotlight needs to come back. Prime example, Jason Witten.
HEY, LET'S CALL IT LIKE IT IS. I GLAD QUINN IS GONE. HE NEVER CLEANED UP OUR PENTALIES PROBLEM. PLAYER NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. HOPEFULLY MIKE ZIMMER CAN CLEAN IT UP. WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR BETTER DISCIPLINE PLAYERS THIS SEASON. LET'S GO COWBOYS NATION.❤😊🎉😅
The “Hot Boy” Era is the worse era of the Cowboys defense. Talk trash and get punched in the mouth. DLaw is the CEO of that era, with those stupid ahh chains.
There’s no need for Micah to throw DLaw under the bus. We can clearly see this is his last year in Dallas. I would like to know the mistakes Micah thinks Micah made in those situations..
Micah makes the same mistakes he was lined up off side quit a few times dlaw is literally the only player on our defense that showed up in that packers I don't even think Micah got a pressure in that game
Alot of yall are to dam emotional crying for dlaw attitude is what he's talking about talent only goes but so far heart is what you need Dlaw made excuses, we where tired, etc since we on Dlaw why is it every yr we play the eagles with Hurts he goes for the same dam fake and hurts runs for 10 12yds same dam play every yr he's playing within a system when he should be the system, Emmett Smith said the same thing, so did Dez Bryant and Dalton Schultz put it plainly its a circus at Cowboys facility a side show and no real focus on football, how many fans know that b4 the greenbay playoff game some players went out partying the night b4 🤔 all night no curfew, 🤔why is that
Well he need to a lot of creditably he show he’ll didn’t show up on n playoff game against Green Bay defense didn’t show he didn’t either for one it’s not his team
Dak Attack you really doing this pitting Micah against DLaw I guess you should since it takes away from the Dak and Trey Lance argument Micah is hasn't done anything to really call out players he got hyped up and he thinks he has won something. Micah talking about deadweight and dumb penalties please. He was crying about playing linebacker while being taken out plays by TEs and yes offensive coordinators know just run right at Micah. But hey everyone gets excited because he gets a sack let me know when can help stop the run. But Micah will still be swapping jerseys with other players after the game and defending other players on other teams.
That flag on Tank was BS for 1, but im sorry, calling out the guy who consistently gives effort and plays to scheme and purposely sets u up to make plays, nah! Speaking on Tank after we watched the difference in your and his efforts vs GB, pick a better example. Love u Micah but u barking up the wrong tree there.
You know after the post season its been a lot of reason on why I can say we’re gonna flop next year but at that same time it’s just been to many signs saying we’re gonna see a different cowboys team next year not sayin we gon win the Super Bowl next year but I definitely believe we’re gonna go on a longer run in the playoffs
Is Micah a leader on this team or not!?!?!? Quit airing all this out in the media and handle business in the locker room freaking team of primadonnas. All worried about themselves. Check out his pretty finger nails. Let em all go. Get them comp picks.
I have been saying for years dlaw is over paid. Gets paid for pressures, not sacks, pressures. Everyone states he is great against the run. Where is he when teams are running down our throat? With Micah on the other side why does he not have more sacks? He is all mouth win or lose. Especially when they lose. From being too tired to being soft, etc. Always throwing his teammates under the bus.
