Whenever Micah comes back put him back at linebacker. He can play DE sometimes but he'd be more effective if he played most of the snaps at linebacker. That's his true position anyway and he hasn't been effective on the edge so far this season.

The defense is so bad, I don’t really think they will be missed. A bunch of hungry youngsters looking for a payday might surprise us. The unknown might work for us the way this season is looking.

This season is a wash, I've been watching the Cowboys too long to think any different. Either the coaching is bad from top to bottom.. excluding Bones on Special Teams or the players they have just aren't that good and honestly it's a lot of both in my opinion. Make no mistake, this sucks. Honestly though, we might need this. Rolling into the playoffs on a high note and blowing teams out hasn’t worked for us. Maybe they need to learn to survive without the big dawgs. Maybe the young guys need this to build confidence so they can contribute later. Hopefully a season of struggles and “tests” to help us build up the grit and grind we need for the playoffs. Lately, going into the playoffs with this sense of confidence/arrogance has worked against us.

Defense was struggling with parson and tank, so it’s not like it’s such a big impact. Sometimes new blood can make a difference and there is time to prep the rookies.
