Micah's 4th birthday is here!!! Unfortunately, it doesn't go anywhere near what we planned, but it was still extremely special. We can't believe that our little girl is already 4?! something you might want to try with Micah is "quiet time" where even if she doesn't want to nap, she has to play quietly in her room for a set amount of time. This gives mom and dad a break and if you enforce it (if she leaves, remind her that it's quiet time until mom or dad comes and gets her and put her back in her room) it's something you will be very grateful for a few years down the road when you have 3+ kids. Also, try moving the alarm to a higher location that she can't get to on her door. Hope that helps!!

I can’t believe she’s 4… I haven’t watched you guys in a while I just didn’t find the time, and I come back and 3rd baby on the way, you moved, Paige is all grown up and Micah is 4 !!! Watching your videos and the amazing work you guys do with your kids is so fun. It feels healing to my inner child to see you be so willing to help them explore everything they want. Even the way you helped Paige get closer to the bug even though you didn’t want to lol (I think it was good you said you didn’t want her to tough it because some bugs do hurt. As a preschool teacher I used to say “we appreciate them with our eyes and leave them alone with our hands” )
