We went to Miccosukee Village in the Miami Everglades to learn more about Native American history in South Florida and the Miami Area. If you are in the Miami area and looking for something to do outside of the typical attractions, then definitely visit Miccosukee Indian Village. They have Miccosukee airboat rides as well, for a really great price.
