I agree on it being weird that everyone makes them angelic and smart, but disagree with them being murderous brats. In one of her lines in ucn, puppet mentions how the "others are like animals" which lines up with their behavior. They probably are just aware enough to remember there killer was a security guard, and are barely sentient as they lash out at any security yard they see. As for deaths, we can only probably confirm one at the hands of the fnaf 1 crew, the phone guy. I say probably because we don't 100% know, but c'mon, he dead. Not saying they didn't kill more maybe, but we have no proof they did either. The original cast, going into other games it gets complicated. Also, screw that nonsense about them driving William into "complete psychosis" the man was already a lunatic, he was murdering children, and built robots (designed to HELP him kill children) that got his OWN children killed. Killing William in the springlock was 100% the right idea, as he was no longer able to continue MURDERING CHILDREN. The only kid you should blame for aftons continued rampage is Cassidy, like seriously, let him die already, keeping him alive to torture him is playing into his hands, as he always escapes and wreaks more havok. He was the one that found their remnant and fucked with it, litterally everything else that came about after his obsession over that shit was his fault, which yes includes his descendance into the springtrap, I'll admit theyve done pretty bad things especially when it comes to the guards, like seriously they straight up murdered phone guy, but afton very much wasn't on them

We have proof that they definitely killed Phone Guy. But we don't know about the others. But there is also a slight hint of the others. Yes he was the one that start all this with remnant. But he been more calmer and doing this for imortality. And now he act like he gona kill every {pip} child in whole world. Not mentione that but after death, 30 years in small room(we don't have proofs that he sleep all this time.), burning 2 times and personal hell people can't be the same as before.
