Lets all thank Nelson Sullivan for all of his hard work taping all of these epic parties that could have easily been kept in memory only. Instead, with the help of his videos and the people who transferred them on to VHS & DVD, we all have these in Our OWN memory/possession as well...! Rest in peace!

I was at that McDonalds just two weeks ago.

I was there. A wild time. Times square was at its most grungiest before the Giuliani clean up. When we arrived it was chaos outside with people throwing things at us. I was 18 with a fake fur red jacket,platforms, and long hair.

This so iconic.

In Los Angeles early 90’s, we also used to have random parties with lots of people crammed into warehouses, empty churches, basement of an elementary school....miss those days

I mean, I see these movies and I was their same age and I was completely partying in a NOT so stupid way! OMG can they be more pathetic! So GLAD I didnt grow up in NYC in the late 80's...

this was where the genuis lied. sure it mght have lasted a few minutes and really wasnt that fun, but it put the scene and the club on the map. i never went but i would assume the after party was at one of the clubs.. this approach is what made it blow up

Michael told me this was not one of his better parties. He and Keoki got in a fight because they were hitting on the same guy.

God. I know the type all-too-well. I am a pretty famous dance everywhere in the world I have gone to dance, and mainly in Atlanta, which is my home, and parasites like that are a reality anywhere in the club-scene. Do you have specific stories, or know where I can read about Michael Musto and the drama from that period, and today? I would like to know more about the New York dance-scene, because I am thinking about going there for a while soon to experience the night-life world there.

We live like it's Bohemia and go to free parties at bars with our DJ friends with cheap beers or go to a psytrance weekend in the woods. In England you find a bomb shelter long forgotten. It's just full circle back to how warehouse parties were, but it's not the same. I missed an era.
