In this video, Michael Ball visits the veterinary surgery run by Noel Fitzpatrick aka 'The Bionic Vet' to open his new recovery kennel area when he collects his dog Freddie.
Freddie is a Tibetan terrier who has been staying at the Fitzpatrick Referrals practice to have a pioneering new surgical hip replacement following an accident.
When Michael and his wife went back to the surgery to collect Freddie, they were also happy to officially open the innovative new kennel block at the centre.
In this video, watch Michael opening the new kennels, collecting Freddie and hear all about his life with his beloved canine companion, how he misses him during his tours and what he loves about the breed - the Tibetan Terrier.

Another reason to love Michael. His love,care, and devotion for his fur buddy, Fred. Michael, thank you for sharing your experience at this clinic and the wonderful doctor and staff who cared for your beloved pet. You gave your dog a chance to live a few more happy years. I’m 67 years old and it is wonderful to see how vet medicine has grown and become more of a saving your pet instead of destroying your pet. Yes I am a very ethical person; I’ve been a nurse for over 40+ years, and yes there are times when it’s time to say goodbye to let go. But with our pets the same thing happens there’s a time when you have to say “no, we’ve done all we can do and it’s really making them suffer to make them go on”…So I really appreciate Noel and his team, and all the work they do to save pets lives. But they also know when to say enough. Thank you Dr. Fitzpatrick and staff….u make life worth living!

It irritates me so much, that the Human doctors are taking credit for Noel's invention of the amputation pegs. He is an incredible man, and should be credited with perfecting this method, for both animals and for providing the proof that it could also work for human amputees, and get them out of pain from the old tech of socket prostesis

That was beautiful to watch and Michael said it all. Noel is the answer to all pets in dire straits and to all others. Congrats to him and his amazing team, I hope to have the privilege of meeting him and introducing my amazing 12 year German Shepherd. You are all awesome. Doctors, whether animal or human are some of the few people that deserve to be paid what they are truly worth. Pet care requires insurance, just like we do (if we don't have public health care) or our cars or houses etc. whatever you may think about insurance companies, If you do your due diligence, you'll find what you need.

He isn't , they've lived together for many years now , Cathy was a star of British tv in the sixties , they met when she interviewed him for a news programme him about his part in Aspects Of Love !

Serious animal lovers don't worry about costs, but Noel works on the animals of homeless, disabled, disadvantaged people too.He understands and makes the necessary arrangements for all his patients, animals and people.
