Michael Bublé Admits It Was Love At First Sight With His Wife: 'I Got Very, Very Lucky' | Access 

I was 18, had a big crush on a boy who I was also friends with. He excitedly told one evening he had met the girl he was gonna marry. (It wasn’t me btw.) I was crushed. I didn’t have a great home life at the time though my grandparents were great. I went to my room that night and sobbed. I am a very religious believer and I got down on my knees and prayed and ask God to give someone who would love only me. Two weeks later we went on a trip to see cousins. My one cousin asked me to write to this sailor friend of her big brother because her mom insisted he get mail being far from home and her boyfriend didn’t like it. I begrudgingly said ok. Long story short, this man (he was22 at the time) was who God picked for me as he had the same beliefs as me. His home was in southern New Mexico and I lived in northwest Indiana. There could not have been 2 people more different. We celebrate our 49th anniversary in November, have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren. We have a loving relationship, are best friends and travel and have fun together. Trust God as a matchmaker. 💕
