This brings back the times when my folks would go get dressed up and go dance. Back when couples stayed in love and stayed married...for better or worse. No abuse. Just the argument once in awhile about stuff. Sitting and watching one tv ...together as a family. Eating at the dinner table. Going somewhere to picnic or swim. Camping. The beach. Going to the grandparents for the holidays. All the kids opening presents. The romance of the times. Love this song.

When I hear this song, I think of the Greatest Generation and the sacrifices they made in the War. My dad was an American soldier during WWII and this song" I'll Be Seeing You" with the melody embraces the memories of that time and such beautiful lyrics.

My grandma always said she remembered this song playing on the jukebox at the bus station when her brother left for World War II. This song always made her cry.

"I'll Be Seeing You" is a popular song about missing a loved one, with music by Sammy Fain and lyrics by Irving Kahal. Published in 1938, it was inserted into the Broadway musical Right This Way, which closed after fifteen performances. Michael Buble (and that orchestra) does this one so well!!

I love the Glenn Miller style woodwinds in this arrangement. It almost gives a WWII type of character to the song. Michael sings it with style and respect.

this song is so sad. i love the movie, but its really sad too. cuz when they are old and they are dancing, she finally remembers him and then when he calls her darling she says "why did you just call me darling? who are you? stay away from me." and then she starts screaming for help and noah starts to cry and it just breaks my heart.

Such a wonderful song - we all have these little private chambers in our heart that no one else can know or understand. I'll have these memories tucked away for me only, for me to know and remember when the day comes that I am old and alone, I will have these to keep my soul warm and alive. I wish those days were much further away than they are. Autumn is here, and this is the Winter that beckons no spring

Used to occasionally sit in with the hotel band at The Philippine Village Hotel, Pasay City, Metro Manila, back in the mid '70's. This was their sign-off number. Great song. Great arrangement. Great singer.

@Butterball121252 that's lovely. My Dad played sax in a dance band so I grew up with all the old tunes that my friends had never heard. I so love Michael and have seen him 3 times now. My Mum likes him and I know my Dad would have too. I just love it that this music lives on and I'm inflicting it on my daughter, nephews, nieces and great niece (aged 5)

im very proud of you teenagers writing on this wall... im 25 and been a fan of Michael since the start, his covers are amazing as well as his original songs. I appreciate this kind of music, even though is not new, its still a breath of fresh air from this videos and so called "music" of this day and age. Sometimes im embarrassed to be from this time period. (plus this song is so romantic)

Michael Buble has sung this song in such a romantic and beautiful manner. It is a timeless song, with a melody that has no expiration date. Songs like this may change the course of romance and fidelity in marriages once again. So many of us can relate to such an era in time. I hope singers will start singing it again on a regular basis.

I have always been a huge fan of the oldies, jazz, r&b, and those singers like Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. Being 15, you'd probably ask me who am I to say this but I have to tip my hat to Michael. I really appreciate his style and taste in music. He uses that jazzy tune but puts his own little swing in to modernize it. Now, he is one of my musical idols for doing that. Thanks Mike :)

Music is music. Those who cherish it will be repayed, they'll be healthier. I'm imagining that most rock-stars these days, whatever....are into drugs, tons of wierd stuff and mostly just performing for fame. Michael Buble performs because he LOVES this stuff as much as anyone listening to him and what a great treat to get someone with that much joy and passion for what he's doing singing as well as he can for all of us. It is so nice that Mike Buble brought to life a song dating back to WWII times. Originally by Vera Lynn this song still brings -- to the hearts of those who lived thru the dark days of war -- a longing and tenderness for lost loved one. God bless you Michael for ressurecting it and presenting it to the younger generation.

I grew up listening to my parent's big band music and loving it ... I wish they were still alive to hear Michael's versions of these songs. Listening to him sends chills down my spine ... and makes my heart flutter. Well, that could be my heart murmur, nevertheless, I love his singing, and taking me back in time to when we'd play the old 78s and I'd watch my parents dance and I blushed each time my dad dipped mom. Great memories.

I am so glad that a young good singer like Michael Buble is bringing back songs of another era -- a dangerous World of war and misery -- full of romance and nostalgia. BUBLE will earn the admiration of a genration who lived or was affected by War. The beauty of voices like Vera Lynn, Tino Rossi, Marlene Dietrich, Billie Holiday and all those great singers who sung melodieswhich had to do with wartime and what people felt for each other may teach the younger ones something about romance.

I love the way Michael sings this gorgeous song and I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED The Notebook!!!!!! It was such a touching story and I cried my eyes out at the end! My husband grabbed my hand just when I reached for his and we said simultaneously, "that could be us"! I'm also an artist so I really could relate to Rachel McAdams role. A different generation - but the songs are what make this artist so great ! Since the world changed radically after WWI , the talent of that era was in composers of songs that expressed emotions of the heart and allowed people to truly dance TOGETHER! At that time people actually courted with marriage in mind, Thank God that you are seeing peoples choice in music has MIchael bringing back the best of songwriters for us to enjoy !
