@ I am just curious did anything further come out of that experience? You certainly have a beautiful voice and you did not seem nervous at all. You must be use to singing for an audience?

@David F ..this business is always about who you know, not what you know in many ways….of course it helps to have a decent voice. I heard Delta Goodram was buddies Molly Meldrum (cant ask for a better buddy than that) heard TayloR Swift’s dad signed her up to his record label (thats pretty handy having dad who owns a record label, not too hard to get a deal I’d say) Not 100% sure about this info, I heard snippets from who knows where…..but these ladies are brilliant anyway….it’s a privilege to have the chance to hear their amazing voice and song writing……and if I ever have the cash, I’d luv to see em in concert with my daughter…. 😉🤩….here’s to dreaming !
There is a billion adults in this world easily. Is it really shocking that there may be thousands if not millions of people capable of singing at a professional level who aren't professionals

@Jim Palmer hi! I explained it 1000 times already, if I knew I’d be singing with him I wouldn’t look like that (messy hair etc). He picked me without knowing I’m a singer (I was screaming like hell). You said I wasn’t nervous and I hit those first notes but belive me when I say I was shaking! And I hit those notes because I’ve sang it a million times … I can sing it acapella if I want to … So, please, stop saying it was set up, just enjoy that was “my moment to shine” because I can sing; that’s it 🌈✨

So true, 10 years ago i attended the first service of our Church. The opening song was a solo from a man I had never met. They play their own music, and do not have a acoustical sound stage. I sit there stunned at the quality of voice this man had. It was perfection his vocal range was amazing. His song was not one Roy Orbison would sing, yet I could here the same smooth tones. He walked by me later I asked him have you ever cut a album? He replied in a down home way, no I really never thought about singing for a living. I realized He sings to pay tribute to God, and He does his best to do so. I soon learned He was one of many gifted artist in our Church.
