The business talks with Russian government officials continue well into the summer of 2016 and well past the time that Trump said he had no business dealing in Russia. Cohen testified to Congress that the discussion on the project ended in January. He lied for Trump, and he went to jail for it. That makes trump look worse, not better. Only criminals have fall guys and like many fall guys Cohen is spilling his guts on what he knows.

Michael Cohen had a retainer. Trump has said he hired Michael Cohen because he did the right thing on a building council. Did he? Did he take credit for it to latch on to a rich man? Michael Cohen said he expected to be White House Counsel or AG, and how could he expect that. Biden gives out top jobs without qualifications. Maybe that is how Michael Cohen thinks about everything? He was left behind when Trump went to Washington, D.C. He lost the retainer? It is good money. Did he resent Trump for that? Well Cohn is the only thing tying Trump to election interference. If his credibility is put into question and the jury feel like he’s lying then yeah it’s a wrap.
