In order for you to know that the word “peacefully” was added on advice from his attorneys to try and distance himself from the violence you would have to either have the ability to read minds or you would have to have been in the room next to Trump. He would have had to tell you. I strongly doubt that either is the case. The same goes for knowing that he knew that violence was planned. There’s simply no way that you could know any of that and pretending that you do is a lie. Why do you feel the need to lie? A small group of people who acted on their own decided to storm the Capital Building. If they are proven to be guilty then they will be punished accordingly. Whenever such an attack happens, there are security protocols in place. All non security personnel are supposed to make their way to the designated secured locations, if they’re not already there. Failing to follow protocol is a federal crime. As the POTUS, Trump’s responsibility was to get to safety. There was nothing that he could do other than to stay out of the way and let law enforcement officers do their job. No, there was nothing that he could do to stop it. No, he did not encourage it either. No, he did not thank or praise anyone for the violence. He condemned it.
