Because that's what Vince told him to do. The reason being that they have to comment on what's being broadcast to the viewer, instead of what's actually going on in the ring because the cameras don't necessarily catch everything that Vince wants the fans to see. The commentary team have been doing it that way for decades, because that's what Vince wanted.
He’s commenting on what the people see on the tv. There could be little cuts or close ups of something else that he wouldn’t see if he were watching just what’s going on in the ring
@@whopp1069Vince is also the reason half of the old roster left, and remember Micheal Cole vs J.R? The only reason he didn't leave is because unlike the Wrestling Talent who are much more recognizable than him, he would probably not have been able to find anything else for him
@@handleunavailable Thats the best part because in all reality he pushed and pushed till his own wanted to kick his head in so i hope jay gets the strap.
They clearly weren’t trying to focus on Cole. The camera moves around and the central part of the shot is what is happening in the ring. They focus on Cole for like 2 seconds probably on accident, before switching back to the match.
This Main Event was fun and emotional. I’m happy Cody finally got his moment🇺🇸🏆. Salute To Roman Reigns For Carrying The Torch For 4 Years 🫡☝🏾🩸 Happy Birthday To Your Channel 🎁🎂
Look we all know he's no J.R. but I respect M.Cole for trying to put that show on for us tv viewers, and I mean he was not so well at commentating back then, but over the years, I acknowledge the growth he's had, because now he calls some great matches, that have that hype good ol'jr would provide while us viewers wereel glued to the screen lol back then anyways 🙏🙏
You're right. Cole gets a lot of hate especially since he had to follow JR but the guy has been an absolute workhorse for 20+ years. Sure, people may not enjoy him but considering he has Vince yelling in his headset every night and still to this day gives it his all Cole has earned all the respect in the world 🙏
Because that's how he was trained to do his job...to comment on what the TV viewer sees, not what he sees in the ring, because the cameras won't always catch everything that happens in the ring, and certain things get cut out all the time.
Man Cole's storied career is really the the tale of two halves. Went from hated, to a really good heel (all things considered), to being great during Jerry's heart attack, to being a decent face commentator, to basically being a dream team with him and Pat. I'm glad to see Cole enjoying himself.
First of all he hs not underrated he is overrated always say false things misprounce all the time and gives false attendence to the fans he is just a puppet of vince... Worse commentator of all time
I'm watching Michael Cole the entire time. He inspires me. I wanna do what he does SOOOOO BAD! I based my own RU-vid channel around what Michael Cole does.
he watching it on the small tv cause that how he was trained to do his job he watching the tv version like everyone at home because he needs to commentate for tv viewers. because the cameras wont always catch everything that happens in the ring and things r always getting cut out
This is why Micheal cole should be inducted in the hall of fame I don’t know why they didn’t put him in I remember this skinny guy debuting on wwe attitude era with glasses in the ring for first time he always got teased by big celebrities stone cold the rock hhh like Micheal cole deserves to be in ducted in the hall of fame it has to happen he sells that role in wwe performance of Micheal cole is awesome

I was at my aunts on a mini holiday and I watched this my brother was rooting for r and s I was screaming uce ohhh and splash 1 2 3 how much I screamed was unimaginative
If I saw you say that 10 years ago, I would laugh in your face. But nowadays, I think that might be true, I mean his work is amazing, JR will always be an all time great, but he may have been leapfrogged by Michael.
For me Romans matches and promos never really did it but the stories made it all come together. He’s a perfect fit for the role and I think his part time schedule helped build an aura that wouldn’t be there if wrestled weekly. I personally can’t see Roman being a high level actor. He’d definitely get parts but he doesn’t seem to have the natural talent for the acting side like cena or even the rock
