Ireland is absolutely beautiful and magical. I grew up reading books about Ireland fairies, legend & myth and I came upon a quote about the Burren “There isn’t a tree to hang a man, water to drown a man nor soil to bury a man” then I thought to myself, someday I will visit this fascinating land. I love your channel Derek. God bless and look after you.

Well done Derek, sitting in the centre of London yearning to get home! We do live in an enchanted place, and please God it remains that way! I wonder what "the big fella " would make of the present invasion and the traitors in Leinster house! We didn't struggle for 800 years to hand our freedom away to Brussels, we will prevail!❤

I've never been to Ireland, but I'd love to go. It has a special place in my heart, as one of my grandmothers came to Australia from Ireland as a war bride. I'm not sure what I find more enjoyable, the scenery, the accompanying stories, or the enjoyment of listening to an Irish accent.

Very atmospheric that mist with a horseman in the distance. Hard to believe that Michael Collins was so young. He achieved so much in his short life. Interested to hear all about Finbarr.

Been to Clonakilty a good few times. Both business & pleasure. Most memorable was a local in a pub one night telling myself & work colleagues to "get back to Dublin ye west Brits ". Hopefully they were nice to you 😀

Hello you! 😉 Well now Derek, there's a thought with the clippity clop! Thats a way I would like to walk Ireland. On horseback. Yet another enjoyable catch up from you so many thanks. Your searching Derek, thats good. What a marvelous privilege we have that we can tune in and talk to our Creator. We don't need a temple or church to do that but we do need faith to be heard. And, that is based on knowledge Hebrews 11:1-3 "Faith is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen. For by means of it, the men of ancient times had witness borne to them. By faith we perceive that the systems of things were put in order by God's word, so that what is seen has come into existence from things that are not visible." Sometimes what we are searching for is right under our nose. lol Looking forward to your next video as your trailer comments has me intrigued, again. 👏💜👏😉

How have RTE or Virgin Media not scooped you up dude or some Travel channel. You should be doing this all over the world especially where the Irish have made an imprint. A series on the Irish diaspora would be great. Maybe crowd funded if you just did it yourself?

Thank you very much for the kind words. I personally think this is better than tv which would certainly change things about the way I operate 😂

Derek, did you make any videos of your hikes around Chiang Mai? I'm heading back that side soon enough, any tips?
@DerekCullenOutdoors
@DerekCullenOutdoors 10 месяцев назад
Hey! I didn’t make any videos about Chiang Mai - lovely part of the world. I recommend a hike to Wat Phalat. You can begin near Basecamp cafe ☕️

Thanks Derek, I walked up to one of the temples, took about 2.5 hours, can't remember the name, maybe it's Phalat. Everyone said I was crazy, but I felt like walking. You might remember me, the Dub you met in KFC in Chiang Mai. I thought you were sticking around there, anyway, welcome back@@DerekCullenOutdoors
