@@michaelwertzy9808 I'm legitimately confused as to the point you're trying to get across...not trying to talk down, but just in case I'll explain my previous comment. I responded to someone saying 'nice dress, sir'... Back when this aired it was clearly meant as a joke, i.e. a man wearing women's clothing... nowadays, however, people are so self-conscious and uptight especially when it comes to humor that people would hesitate to laugh at such a joke. While then it was a simple joke, society has changed to the point where now it's no longer a joke, but a progressive stance, hence the 'open-minded compliment'. Perhaps this was a simple miscommunication? I forgot about this comment, want tryna start any comment section flame wars, just a simple observational throwaway joke. I'm unsure of what you meant when you reverenced correctional officers. As I said before, your comment legitimately confused me, so if you wish to also provide some context and explain it a bit I'm willing to listen. I like arguing in the sense that people can share and defend their stances on certain ideas, but I like arguing so long as it doesn't become an argument, if that's clear? So, if you want to have a constructive dialogue, I'm open. If I'm over explaining, I apologize. I'm just willing to defend and explain my actions and stances, something that it seems many people don't really do anymore. I'm sorry if this came across as patronizing, wasn't my intention. And I have a tendency to ramble/write-as-I-go (thanks ADD), so forgive my long-form essay. I'm working on trying to be more succinct because I know blocks of texts scare people away. If you choose to respond, great, if not, same sentiment. Peace!
This is my kinda comedy. Witty, sarcastic, authentic, non forced, and very original. Hes not just a comic but hes actually a very talented juggler. I wish I had heard of him sooner.
@Ashura That is... except for those who find juggling sexually attractive, because there was a lot of underlined monkey business, and many different styles.
I don’t know if he’s a talented juggler who excels at comedy, or a talented comedian who excels at juggling… but either way I was impressed while he made me spit out my chai latte!
That's what you call an act. At every second of this clip you are entertained. He is creating a character, making jokes, keeping the continuity. I don't know when, but somewhere along the way we stopped appreciating this kind of performers. All we have now are bad Netflix specials with comedians who are clearly trying to fill in the time because they don't have enough material. I miss those days. good times..
@@jayasimhavamsi on one hand, they are saying, man is getting dumber, while on the other hand they are using advanced technologies, that didn't exist when a juggler balanced his stuff.
Ding Dong To juggle a bowling ball, an egg and an apple while simultaneously eating the apple, you need to see the apple, you need to feel the apple you need to are the apple.
5:36 that was probably the hardest part the weight difference is an amazing display of his control over the juggled items, while he's still able to take a bite out of the apple and time the egg correctly. This is nothing short of damm impressive.
I juggle quite a lot, and I think the tight behind-the-back throws were fundamentally more difficult than juggling the egg, apple and bowling ball in a basic cascade pattern. However, tracking what is in what hand for the various bites is indeed quite difficult. Although he almost certainly has the same pattern each time, so it might be muscle memory.
Yes, people think that he's a comic or a comedian... but as he stated earlier, he's a juggler. I guess people don't really pay attention to his skill as a juggler because he's that funny. But what surprises people that actually "know", is how much of a good juggler he actually is.
One in a million moment when RU-vid suggested something that was actually interesting. Never seen him before and man, what I'd been missing! I immediately had to switch from my cell phone to tv to enjoy this with the family. What an entertainer!
@@gavinnz6169 Yes, I included a quote. I did it to allow others to see what my comment was in response to. If I had simply posted "Deep think" in the comments section of a juggling performance with absolutely no context, I'd look as clueless as you.
therealnightwriter Exactly. Is it that hard to believe I had no clue that jugglers could be this entertaining? Or are you so lonely, you’re just looking for someone to talk to. Also, if you want to nit pick, you forgot the correct punctuation after the word, “be.” I’ll let you figure out what it should be. Good luck. 🤞🏻
therealnightwriter yep I hate the unnecessary use of the word literally. . In school a teacher told me I needed to pull my socks up.... Literally!! 😂 Years later I thought damn! I should have pulled my socks up 😁
If you are interested see if you can find some Charlie Frye and co. clips on YT. Not taking anything from this guy, but Frye does some astonishing stuff ,and is also funny.
This was the 1986 Royal Variety Performance. I worked that show from the flys 😁 He had the whole crew in stitches throughout the rehearsal for this. His act was originally longer than he was ultimately allowed (and I think it was cut down for the tv coverage too) Not heard of him since then 😔
I remember watching Mr. Davis on HBO's "The Young Comedian's Show in 1979. What a great performer, he prefaced his juggling of several sharp objects with "And now for the entertainment of those in the back rows..."
I don't recall the last time I was this humbled by a performer. I feel like a little fangirl. What an absolute master this guy is. The CHARM! Hats off, sir.
This was the closest to a perfect act as I’ve ever seen. Very funny, inuendos, talent, off guard surprises. Kudos to a very fine and well performance. This took a lot of time to perfect but it was well worth it. Thank You for the complete entertainment performance. ,
The entire set leading up to the final trick was not just hilarious in its own right, it also served to subtly persuade me that maybe he's just a comedian and can't actually juggle that well. So when he did pull it off, it was that much more impressive.
My son found this and told me to watch it. I can’t understand why I’ve never heard of him even though he has been doing this since my son was born! Very talented guy.
I had forgotten about Michael! I used to be a juggler in the 70s and 80s. Michael was one of our inspirations. I went on to other things, my partner went on to form the duo called the "Passing Zone". You may have heard of them.
Somehow I glanced at the title and thought it said "Michael Jackson (juggler)" so I clicked on it and spent the next 6:06 waiting for him to incorporate the moonwalk into his routine.
Teaching juggling to others... For free or at a price? I'm interested in learning juggling as a hobby, so it'd be nice to connect with someone who teaches it. Do you have any tips for a beginner?
