I'm so glad God is forgiving. Look at David, God restored him and he was a man after God's own heart. I read the book "The Prodigal Comes Home" and Michael did go through some awful things. And made some terrible choices. But, God is a forgiving and restoring God. If any of you are in a ministry, you know satan works on you overtime. That doesn't mean God can't or won't use you anymore. It just makes your testimony even stronger and can reach people you would never have reached otherwise.
Don't ever let go, God's has the best this world can ever offer. Pray much and thank God for your beautiful talent, it can reach many, through our God.
In Christ alone will I glory, all day, everyday....what an awesome gift that God has entrusted to this saint of God...welcome back to the fold....from one prodigal to another...thank God for His amazing grace.
We all have our up and down times...nice to know he made it thru the other side. Trials can make us bitter or better...for Michael it has made him better.
I fell in love with Michael English the first time I saw him on 1cube doing 'I SURRENDER ALL' in a bar...i was so touched with his voice, I thank God for the gift of God upon his life...I look forward to meeting him someday in life and even doing a piece with him. I’m glad Michael came back to the flock .. sometimes problems and trials are Gods Shepard dogs to bring us back to the flock I hear him testify and I think he’s real and genuine we all need to go to the old path and live for jesus and be ready
I am glad he is back. He is forgiven by our gracious Heavenly Father and his lovely wife which is what we all should do, as well. I've heard it said that Christians are the only "army" that shoots their own solders. That must stop now! We are mandated to forgive others if we want to be forgiven ourselves. So, forgive and let it go. He paid a heavy price already. He, like the rest of us, is a sinner, saved by grace - not a saint to sin no more. We all sin every day - it just doesn't make the papers or news. Sin is sin. There is no big or little sin - there are greater consequences to sin but sin is sin so your sin is as great anyone else's sin. We all need forgivness once we repent. Repent means to turn and do that sin no more.
Linda Antilley me and Michael have a lot in common. I fell onto some hard times shortly after my dad died and called our pastor who was also a close family friend, and he refused to help me or even talk to me. If that’s what a Christian does, I’m glad I moved out of state and don’t go to that self centered, money hungry Baptist church in Louisiana
@@Calvin-01 It's really saddening but that's the truth. The church goers (I don't know much about other denominations) especially Baptists are the most self righteous, judgemental, hypocritical Christians on earth. I still have my membership in a local Baptist Church but I have stopped going to church for good because all they care about is money.
Funny,, Michael was singing to "Baby" but when I hear Michael, I always hear JESUS. His love AMAZES ME. If a prodigal never left , he never would know how great it felt to come back home.

For bronze971: I think that many people that listen to this song might want to find out who this amazing singer is and what other songs he does. Then they'll see that he is a Christian and perhaps listen to his other music. God uses many different ways to get our attention.

Wow. I dont know if you all noticed it. But when he sings this song "Your love amazes me" You still can see faith in God in his eyes. Gods love is really Amazing. And no matter what we do, his attitude twords us never changes. But sin can change our attitude twords god.

"If we repent and except him as our lord and savioyr, we DO NOT die in sin..." What does that mean, really? If you see christ as your lord and saviour, why would you 'except' him as your lord and saviour? Isn't except almost like exclude,- take out... Is it supposed to say "Accept"?
Romans 3:22-24 says, "This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." If this is the case Jesus did not have to bore our sin. Read the word and like the bible says With thou getting....get a understanding.
gotta keep it in context...Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord". In other words, Jesus died for our sins on the cross so we would not have to!

@poolman6482 ROMANS 10: 9 Read it....Is he not our Lord and Savior if we call ourselves one of his.... children the Bible says who ever you yield your membranous to that you are a servant too. So if you yield your body to the devil how can you be called a child of God. Your father the devil and that is what the word calls it. So if I am saved....is not Jesus my Lord which came into my life and he is my savior which saved my soul? How can you even ask a question like that who you think Jesus is?

No one is perfect...God is good and His mercy and grace are what keep us. Michael is paying a price, I've had a taste of this kind of stuff and it's not fun. You can feel the lack of Annointing as he attempts to sing outside his true purpose . And he should have skipped this gig to be with his daughter.

I think Michael is a fine singer and I am glad he has been restored, but I have a problem with born again believers who profess Jesus Christ and yet leave his name out of their songs. He does not have one reference to God or Jesus in this song and it could easily be on the secular charts as well. We should always be able to know the difference. I still think Michael is a fine singer and I hope he does not make a habit of this.
