It doesnt make sense 4 Rev.James Moore to sing like that!...He is one of my favorites hands down...and Thomas Whitfield is a beast on those keys!!!...Two Legends...gone 2 soon...but Jesus knows best....Wow!
eligah8 Thomas Whitfield was my dad’s favorite! These two were in regular rotation at home, growing up! Love this song! I remember when this album came out!
Pastor James Moore, Never got his due credit as an artist. He could sing circles around todays gospel artist. Many talk and have a chior echo them, this man sang for suffering in the body of Christ. With a unique range.
I would have to respectfully disagree… I love James Moore, but there’s a recording of Daryl Coley singing this Hymn. It’s phenomenal. I honestly can’t chose which one I love more. So they are both tied lol
Verse One: I will make the darkness light before you, What is wrong I’ll make it right before you, All your battles I will fight before you, And the high place I’ll bring down. Verse Two: With an everlasting love I’ll love you, But through trials sore and strong, I’ll prove you, For there’s nothing that can hurt or move you, For the high place I’ll bring, I’ll bring down. [Refrain] Refrain: And when you’re walking by the way, I’ll lead you, And on the fatness of the land, I’ll feed you, And a mansion in the sky, I’ll deed you, For the high place For…. The… For the High Place For… For the High Place I’ll bring, I’ll bring down. Refrain: And when you’re walking by the way, I’ll lead you, And on the fatness of the land, I’ll feed you, And a mansion in the sky, I will deed you, For…. For… For the high place {Chorus:} And… The.. High Place {Lead:} For…. For the High Place {Chorus:} And.. The.. High Place And… And the High Place {Chorus:} I’ll bring I’ll bring I’ll bring {Lead:} I will, I will, I will, I will, I will bring down

besides enjoying james moore (as usual), i get to finally witness what thomas whitfield was all about. the only thing i know about him is that he was yolanda adams' mentor back in the day. this is a treat!
