He’s absolutely correct, technique and trimming is the foundation of a lavish arrangement if you wanna make big bucks. Buying flowers yourself and growing them is another skillful art once the arrangement art is mastered. It’s pointless to try to grow seasonal and expensive flowers if you don’t know the basics, he mentions that in many videos and not to mention the months of daily care. Just stating for those who are asking on his channel. I’m a passionate gardener thanks to my mum and even decades and hundreds of experimental dollars later, I am still learning!! So worth it though, it’s helping me in creating my online business. If anyone had tips on how to market a online store, it be much appreciated

Thanks for the videos , I worked for two florist , for a total of 7 yrs , then did dried and silks for a few years then opened my own shop , that I had for 7 yrs, and I wish I had known about you during those times, of trial and error and figuring it out and learning from some good (and not so good ) florists along the way .... and some wire service one dayers, need to get your book Design Star , as I may have the opportunity again to get back in there as a shop manager .....

Crystal Custer . I discovered it in San Francisco and all the flower markets it is a miracle drug for hydrangeas puts them in the water no one knows how much really put your hydrangeas in there for an hour and a half good to go

I would slit the stems of the hydrangeas to take up more water. Cut it in the middle up to an inch up the stem.

Tips for holding. Well this was a large bouq. ,normally u won't have much trouble. But u can tie off the first 2/3 and finish w the rest. Bit honestly I hear it all the time in class but by week two it seems to disappear.... The fingers must stretch)...flower school 101.com for class info.
