This is a great tutorial. I love these educational videos where you don't have some dude running his mouth off. We see everything clearly here. Other producers making tutorials should take note. All we care about is the content. We don't need to hear your voices or see your faces. Giorgio gets straight to the point and keeps the camera on the DAW. That is all we need. It would be interesting to see a tutorial on the vocal sample and how Michael Gray pieced it all together. Mille grazie Giorgio.
I think there’s some notes missing in the chords. I don’t know chord names but the notes I’ve played by ear are 1) D, E, F# A (and B held an octave down) 2)E,F#,G#,B (and C# held an octave down) 3)C,E,G,B (and C held an octave down) 4) D,E,G,A (and G held an octave down) If that makes sense 😀
I think the chords are D-C#m7-C7-Dsus2, no inversions or anything. The rythm in your bassline is a little different too but honestly its better than in the original.
