You can't compare. They are from different times and Steve Terada paved the way and inspired people to get to what tricking has become now. Without Steve, Daniel Sterling and Anis we might have not even known of Michael Guthrie. Now Guthrie paves the way for the newer generation and inspires us all now :)

Dang dude. Triple corks on concrete. Aerial triple full. Cart dub SWING TRIPLE. So close to quad cork and cart full in back out. I am blown away by this sampler. There is no way I'll ever be close to your level, but you are an inspiration.

I like him to :) He probably is my favorite tricker, such beautiful kicks. If you like raw power like Daniel Graham, you have to watch Riyanto and Will Coney if you haven't already too :)

I'm sure he did at the beginning or had help from someone and now he has excelled past most people and is now teaching us. But it is ignorant to say that he didn't need tutorials or help at the beginning because everyone needs guidence, especially to get as good as he is.

Fair enough, your entitled to your own opinion. I just remember Steve being the best a few years ago. Because we are able to learn faster than Steve was because of all the tutorials and help there is now, our technique also develops faster where as Steve basically made most of the combos and moves up from scratch so that's prob why they were a little more scatty and why Guthrie looks better now.

I'm sure he watched them or was helped out by someone at the beginning and if you don'y think that, you a very ignorant. He didn't just wake up and was able to do it. I'm not arguing that Guthrie isn't good because he's exceptional. I was merely pointing out that the pioneers get looked down on even though they were doing back then what michael is doing now, making new moves that have never been done before and inspiring us all. Without them, Guthrie might have not even tricked.

Keep rewatching this...aside from the ridiculous twists and impossible bs12vanish12, a few details I really liked are the way he does he slides into his pop arabian c/t raiz and gainer arabian c/t gumbi. Little aesthetic details like that are just as good as big tricks I think.

I've been in this with Mike since he was 7. I think I would know. You can't speak on what you have no idea about. Many people inspired him. I'm not bagging the pioneers. lol. We used to really look up the Sharkey's crew (matt mullins, craig henningsen and those guys) They were our biggest influence. I'm personally a huge fan of Danny Graham, he's underrated as a pioneer often.
