I love you. I had no idea someone intelligent and informed would bother speaking up. Seriously, "the guy in the middle," Magic Black, on amphetamines? And "whatever you do, don't step in him: Greg Proopiepants" is awesome! And while Doug lost a lot of points by siding with that piece of shit Leonard Maltin in regards to Hook, I still can't help loving him. He's just so harmless.

Actually, my complaint has always been that nobody in these really holds in the hit long enough. I think I saw KassemG actually attempt to hold it in long enough a few times. I hold it in at least 20secs, 1 one thousand, 2 one thousand.....

Honestly these episodes are getting very disappointing. There will never be a guest as interesting nor cooler than joey coco diaz. Truly a boss, he took over the show and made doug look like a bitch. On a side note Dougs Dynasty was a sad attempt at stand up comedy. I would be so pissed if I payed for that ticket. That was also disappointing cause when this series started I was a fan of Doug. Now as time goes on I just wonder how he's gotten to where he's at now.

MIB , its because you take time to metabolize things. like feeling full after eating. If you keep eating during the transition phase, you will feel "too full." If you eat a correct amount then stop, then the full feeling reaches your brain and you never get fat. likewise, you get enough sweet goodness in your blood after a few tokes. If you let 25 mins pass, i know it is long, but you will have most of the active cannabinoids received by your brain. If you smoke a lot more during this you will feel nothing. Its creeper bud, some folks call it that causes this. Often that's better herb and of course if someone was blessed to smoke with a badass like you, they're not going to bring their scrappy midds that would make you feel high right away but be not as excellent and smooth. Furthermore, you're "not " feeling anything is normal. Like eating a carrot, its healthy, your cells benefit from it, and most of what happens is so positive. Consciousness and its effect on it area perception of our reality. I'd wager (while illuminati is thrown around in actual comments earlier) you have a decent control over your own cognizance and have thus reached levels of stardom and creativity i have no idea about.

You can make one of those buddy power hitter with Plochman's mustard bottle and a small aluminum stem. You pop the cap off, shove the stem into the other end of the spout to hold the joint. I think these guests paired well together, in that they are both erudite, dapper intellectuals; the only way it could have been better is if Paul F. Tompkins was included. I know he doesn't smoke any more, but neither does Michael Ian Black apparently. Perhaps he too would partake for the purposes of this show.

Doug, I have 3 questions. 1 - in this episode you mentioned you have a certain place you go to get your weed, what dispensary do you go to??? mine favorite place JUST closed down :( it was called the Honey Spot. I really like Michael but after watching this it is clear that he was majorly paranoid about doing the podcast, decided to take adderall beforehand, decided to act like he had never been high, didnt talk about his drug history, made some rather cliche high brow jokes, and basically acted like a tool. This show needs a touch more howard stern and a touch less walk all over doug. I know it is hard to make a edgy weed podcast but really when you get the big guests at least make them talk about some STUFF for a little. Also the pot topics were awfully assembled. If you want more big guests then you need to take it to the next level. Badass magic trick though Gabe the slight of hand was excellent!

This video turned out to be frustrating despite Greg Proops's charm because Ian Black reeks of arrogance. Really, that's a "cheap habit for a celebrity like me"?. He's flat and completely destroys the vibe with outbursts like "NO!" when Greg offers him a hit from a pipe. I like this show because of the weird off the cuff moments that naturally come with smoking pot on air, but it could be so much more. Get rid of the "pot topics" which are always completely unnatural, negative and uninteresting to most of the guests, and up the production value. I love Doug and his comedy is original, but his fumbling through phone/cards (even without the asides to the camera crew for answers) feels like a waste of time. And lets please stop the tweets read on air or at least screen them, seeing "made" spelled as "mad" was almost too poignant for what the worth of the show actually is.

t-that's not really a big hit though 6:28 In my opinion a big hit should be a hard drag that lasts at least 3-5 seconds. The ones you desperately need to keep down the smoke so that you don't cough it all over the place. The ones where you try to impress your friends by keeping it in for as long as you possibly can. The ones where you cough like a madman for minutes afterwards as you make a face resembling that of a man who was just stabbed in the gut. Call me a weed snob but that was just a regular old hit, not to mention he blew the smoke out immediately afterwards.

Doug didn't know that you could fullscreen youtube vids,...ya know I am less astounded by him not knowing about Afghanica now. he just avoids certain info, like a ninja, swiftly without he nor the info even noticing.

Afghanica is a variety of Indica, one which I feel is not very well defined through your usage because heavy Indicas come from more than just Afghanistan, and there are no defining morphological differences between them to validate a new classification. It IS just Indica and Sativa (Ruderalis also, I guess, but it's hemp). However, you are correct that it is more complicated, and not all Indicas or Sativas should be so narrowly defined by their classification. Not all Indicas are couch-lock strains, and not all Sativas are heady and thoughtful. Some Sativas are knockout and some Indicas are uplifting and mellow, and Doug does a disservice to the smoker community by treating Indica like kryptonite. They had some Indica on this one, nobody fell asleep. Last week's was a great episode and they all smoked Indica then too. Doug should realize that they do smoke Indica sometimes and it doesn't ruin the show. If anything they just get even higher and it's even better.

Joe S. Jorge Cervantes lists sativa indica and afghanica in his books. I could define afghanica more but his definition is what i will defer to. the different effect is enough to qualify it, though there is more that may simply not be as obvious and noticeable. has an amphetemene like high, sweaty, zoning into inner space or outer space, like cocaine, unlike sativa and unlike indica, and distinctly so. but I am glad that more people will help Doug quit the anti-indica stuff. whether we agree on a different classification or not, i think it is clear that Headband and OG, to name just two, are distinct from sativa and indica strains and their hybrids.
