I loved Family Ties my family and I used too watch it from the first episode too the last in 1989 the best I always wanted too make a family like family 👔 but didn't work out loved Michael J Fox I had the biggest crush on him still love him till this day a phenomenal actor
Although living in Italy, my family and I really enjoyed watching Family Ties (and also other events with MJF).. Finding some on you tube (as well as parts of it I wasn't able to see then) make me happy. Tks! 🙏❤😊
Awesome sitcom Birney and Gross were this wonderfully beloved couple and Fox himself was a riot. Bless him for not being narcissistic or that would've ruined it.
Loved it, saw every episode. even recorded it to see the whole week long. The Should placed it on Netflix to watch it over and over again. at that time i even dressed liked Alex P. Keaton and was a FAN of Michel J. Fox (and i still am)
I liked the one episode where they used an all black stage to show Michael's inside mind in turmoil as he related to each of his family. He had lost a close friend, as the reason for this style of episode. Very strong drama with a deep message that episode, different than the usual comedy episode.
Only 40 comments at the time I write this. The change in the show at season 1 is age old. Parents understanding the difference between them and their children. Also...seeing the effect that parents have on their children. It's a beautiful show. They always had the parents still being liberal, despite Alex's refusal of liberalism. And Alex learned lessons from that. Plus, we had drunk Tom Hanks.
I grew up watching also as many have stated and forgot how funny it was but I watch the reruns on Rewind and on Paramount and laugh every time, shows now don't make me laugh 😢
14:47 Justine's olive complexion and long brown/black hair. No way she came from these two caucasian parents. haha It's no problem. In fact, I actually like it. It makes her look cool
