Fox was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's disease in 1991 at the age of 29. He disclosed his condition in 1998. He has always been an exceptionally considerate person, one who did not seek out sympathy or special treatment for his situation..

Check this out I was struck by lightning and I'm live and able to talk about it so you know what you say Parkinson hurt so bad and you're in a wheelchair but I'm saying this man if you really want to you can get up and you can walk and you can just about do anything you want to do because you see what I'm telling you and when you struck by lightning and you still get up and walk that's a very hard thing to do but I did it and hell I'm 50 something years old now
