Great interview - interesting guy - believe Michael was setup a lot but he lost me at the end with Tate. After studying who this bald, attention seeking, social media clout chasing guy was - he was always a criminal defrauding girls into doing webcam sex work. He is a master manipulator and the biggest narcissist I have seen. Tells stories people believe - but his pimps, hustlers, and hoes degree sold sad guys info on how to be a pimp. He on video confessing his crimes many years back.

You can like women and still molest children. The fact MJ liked women doesn’t mean that he didn’t (or did) molest children. Also those people don’t molest all children just ones they can have power over.

I was Michaels's limo driver a few times in 1982, NYC. One night I picked him up in a van. He was wearing a fake beard, glasses, and a fake nose, with a long coat. We went to Radio City Music Hall to see Kool And The Gang concert. Michael sat right in the middle of the audience. No one had a clue. After the concert, we walked out through the crowd, , and I thought these people have no idea they are literally brushing shoulders with Michael Jackson.

That’s because he was sooooo famous. The more attention on someone you’re going to have more misunderstandings because no one knows him but those who are close to him, like any other person on the planet who would be in his shoes with world-wide fame on his level. If you were famous you would feel alone too because know one really knows you, but your closest family and friends. And even then, at that level of fame you sometimes can’t even trust them. So they turn on you and misunderstand you too etc.

The one thing I think he forgot to add was that Michael's bedroom was treated like a living room with friends, family, and trusted individuals. That room was so massive and it was two stories. I don't have a huge bedroom, but my room is where my friends hang out where I eat and where I watch TV , pay my bills, work, ect. Wow. Ive only seen documentaries that show how ridiculous all the pido allegations were. Mainstream Medium _always_ sends the same messages, no matter what. Thankfully, all of the documentaries I've seen were on RU-vid, which, let's be honest, is a larger medium with broader audiences and different sources featured. They usually do an excellent job highlighting their relationships then the brilliant people who sometimes get a bit frustrated but most who calmly (and honestly, in my strong opinion) deny anything to do with Michael and anything untoward about children. Let's be honest, mainstream television is on it's way out. This means it will be on this platform, where there are _many_ opposing sources and viewpoints, lol! They won't and already don't, run the show around here. I hope you begin seeing how many opposing & truthful, imo, podcasts and positive documentaries or "mockumentaries" (shorter and without a huge production budget) that there are on RU-vid. ❤

How could someone write “Will you be there” and “Man in the Mirror” and then turn around and torture children. RIP Michael Jackson. He was amazingly talented. He was crushed and alone in the end. Now every entertainer credits him for his music. If he was defended by all the phony’s and knew he was loved, maybe he would still be alive today. This was the first time I saw your program. Michael trusted children, because they never judged him. He didn't have a childhood, and the lack of experiences of being a child and then teenage must have traumatized him a lot. It was the adults around the children he met, that wanted to take advantage of him. And still are trying really hard to bring him down. The entire industry used Michael and he was naive. This podcast was really good ! The weasel Bashir should apologize profusely and publicly to both Michael and Princess Diana. At the end of the day, Michael's words were quoted, clipped and pasted to fit a narrative that sold mediocre tabloids. He was used and exploited. Then just switching to Michael, along with Donny Osmond,Bobby Sherman, etc... I could see how shy he was in interviews and felt a kinship because I was very shy when I was younger. I could just tell that he was a sweet and gentle kid, and I never believed that he changed into a p*do when he grew up. I just knew that he didn't have that in him. He actually WAS a genius, with the tape and all that! I always wondered about those things too!! Sometimes when you see that the podcast is two hours long, you think you’re going to last about twenty minutes. These two hours flew by. It felt like a privilege to listen to a conversation between friends, not an interview. I personally never thought that MJ was a ‘fiddler’ as you put it 😂 due to thinking, why would any parent let their child stay at any adults house etc, however you still question the the thought process of why have them there. It was a really balanced interview of difficult questions, letting Matt answer and explain without feeling uncomfortable, all the while being able to dig deeper. @@rozsheehy6146 I was open minded to listening to the accusers side but something never quite seemed to add up. That’s not to say that everyone that’s found not guilty isn’t innocent or those that pay people off aren’t guilty either, it was just my opinion. Some of what he says also links in to what other friends of MJ have said over the years. I remember once seeing Russell Crowe in an interview talking about how MJ used to prank him all the time. I just think it’s a shame it was in his death that one of the accusers came forward to say it wasn’t true and not before he died

Hearing this from a friend’s angle makes his death sound so much more suspicious. Especially when he says family and friends had problems and were being kept away from Michael. MJ sounds like he was a great friend and treasured his close friends and family. It’s so odd how drastically his “new” management made it all change around him to keep him isolated, how can anyone not find that really weird? Sounds like Michael had real reason to be paranoid and worry about who was around him after so many used and abused his kindness and exploited him over the stupidest things, and many of those people sound dangerously delusional in their belief that he owed them anything more than what he already did for them. They couldn’t just be grateful for that is just disgusting. So sad how he couldn’t just be himself and that people wouldn’t just let him be. People were terrible to him his whole life, but luckily he had a few that he could trust. RIP to the king MJ ❤

I worked for a "removals company" in Bahrain. We moved his furniture out of his palace sized home in Bahrain in 2007 & into our storage after the family "fled" Bahrain - leaving a trail of debt. Literally Everything incl clothes, kids toys & even pets were abandoned 🥺😞.... We had access to every room - except his bedroom as the MJ security protecting the bedroom wing was insane! To my knowledge the moving bill was never settled. Disappointing - but still never believed the accusations.

One of my best mates, Gary Dunn, hung out with Michael for four days when Michael came to Perth, Western Australia, for a Telethon many years ago. He was staying at the Rendezvous Hotel in Scarborough (at beach) and Gaz and his wife took their two young daughters to try if they could see him if he came out, plus he waved from the balcony. Michael spotted them ~ I don't know why them ~ and got his bodyguard to bring them in and up to the penthouse. They clicked and got on very well straight away, so Michael invited them back for four days. Another mate, Tim Bradsmith, who designs lighting for concerts and stage shows for many famous people/groups, and he worked with Michael as his Tour Director while in Perth. Tim said how Michael secretly had several shipping containers brought in that contained thousands of toys which were secretly distributed to all the kids in Princess Margaret Childrens Hospital and various charities. Michael didn't want anyone to know he'd done that. I produce a tv show called "The Profile" where Gary interviews famous Australian musicians [ have done 126 episodes ] and Gary and Tim did interviews (Gaz didn't interview himself - lol - another of the 4 Producers - Alan Simpson- did him). I'll post the links under here as they both have great stories about Michael and said he was a really nice person. Like Prince, Michael was a Jehovah's Witness for yrs. Because of his Mother. Their teachings are they do good things like give those toys to children, and donate money and other things, but you do not tell or brag about it.. same as Prince who also gave things and lots of money to help others. Its given from the Heart and its your calling.. there are the stories about Michael when became famous , he still disguised himself and went door to door telling folks the word about Jehovah's Witness and passing on the teachings.. it seemed tho that most people knew it was Michael who was visiting them..can you imagine having him in your house telling the word..Prince did the same thing telling the Jehovah teachings to others but i am not sure if he went house to house like Michael ,but he did pass the word ..

I can't thank you enough for having this interview with Mr Fiddes. I grew up listening to Michael Jackson's pop music, and what I knew of him was through the media and what the legend wanted me to see, which went completely sideways towards the end and the outright extortion of a celebrity isn't new, but using one's child to do it (with the insurance companies supporting it) is beyond horrific. Mr. Fiddes revealed the side of Michael that I wish the world would have gotten to see and know, and one that I always wondered about. The 20th-century music industry was definitely one of product development, marketing, showmanship, and delivery - all meeting the expectations that were created with the pressures to exceed them for longevity - and Michael Jackson is a true legend. I'm thankful that Mr Fiddes shared his experiences with and introduced us to Mr Jackson. I also wanted to thank Mr Fiddes for his candor, authenticity, and genuineness. As much as I loved the discussion about Mr Jackson, I absolutely loved the conversations about his life journey, experiences, and how he approached and handled life's difficult situations. He's inspiring and is a breath of fresh air. Finally, I recently found your RU-vid channel, and I'm definitely thankful for it. All of your interviews are incredibly well done, just like with Mr. Fiddes. Your authenticity, genuineness, and great follow-up questions bring out the best in them. All the best and thank you for your channel once again.

I always knew he was innocent because I knew Michael. Mike loved kids and not in that way, Mike would never hurt a child. He would hurt anybody who hurt a child, Mike in a way was still in a child like state, which is a good thing to be, like the Bible says, if you don't make it to Heaven as a child, then you might never make it. I too am in a somewhat similar way, only saved people know what I'm talking about. Way back when all this started, I even kept telling people, Watch!! I bet at least one of those kids will come out in the future and admit that they lied and were put up to it because that kind of guilt will haunt you forever. There definitely is a God and he definitely wont let you sleep with that on your conscience. Which is why that kids father committed suicide, which usually happens when somebody does something that heinous. Kind of like how Judus committed suicide after betraying Jesus. It's never worth it and trust me, you don't want to test it to find out because it might be too late.... R.I.P Mike, hope you're in Heaven where you belong kind gentle soul. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I feel like Michael was so full of love... He was never able to be a kid, so he held onto the childlike naivety. The things he was accused of were so far from his loving and childlike spirit that he just couldn't grasp how playing with and loving children could possibly be wrong when in his mind, it was like saying that loving with your whole heart and soul was wrong. So many people betrayed his trust and in turn essentially sold his soul for money. The fact that media portrayed him as a monster does not mean that he was one. In a world that is too often so dark, Michael was actually just a good person whose spirit gave humanity a glimpse at the hope the world really needs more of. Both Michael and Lisa Marie died much too young, leaving a huge void where there voices once were

MJ would be so proud of his kids and the adults they’ve become. Say what you want, Michael’s love for his children was crystal clear. I think Katherine Jackson did a wonderful job with them.

Wow what a life, I have to say Matt has changed my mind about Michael Jackson (for the better). In the late seventies me and my wife worked in a nightclub in Sheffield called the Fiesta Club the Jackson Five appeared there unfortunately I wasn’t on the roster that night my wife was, she says to this day that it was the best Gig ever. Dodge: “Have you seen Martin Bashir since?” Matt: “Oh I would LOVE to see Martin Bashir…” Dodge: “What would you say to him?” Matt: “I’d thump him in the face! I’ll do a few nights in a cell, for what he did to my friend. He KILLED my friend!” You don't know how fired up I was to hear that. Matt is an absolute unit! Don't mess with his friends, ESPECIALLY a friend like Michael!

Was really nice listening to him talking about Michael. I will always remember him in concert in uk cant remember where , but was definitely in the 80s. Me and my best friend who's passed away now. (Me Julie) she loved Michael Jackson so much , so talked me into just going and waiting outside the concert. Because we couldn't get tickets. We could hear it all and sat listening to it. Near the end Michael told them to open the gates for people who couldn't be there... That was us.. ohhh my God, we ran and ran to near the middle. Don't know how but we got to see him for the last song's Was amazing, the atmosphere was out of this world. Both given me great memories RIP 🙏🏽

From the beginning of watching your videos Dodge I knew you had something special to offer. There's loads of channels where they interview personalities, people of interest etc. What makes your channel unique is your subtle style of getting the best out of people, you are respectful, humble, humourous (When it's appropriate) and most importantly, you let people speak. This was another great interview and totally unexpected, the longer it went on the better it got, a true eye opener. Thank you Dodge for your honesty, I have the greatest of respect for you.

This was soooo needed. I feel relieved to hear it from the horses mouth. The Jacksoon 5's album "ABC" was my very first record as a child (along with the Nutcracker Suite: Tchaikovsky). Takeaway: people are evil, and greedy. Michael was super generous, clever, and naive. He was human. The spotlight killed him. RIP.

I met Michael by chance by wandering into a Los Angeles comic book shop that was curiously open really early in the morning. (probably they opened especially for him) I got the feeling that I wasn’t supposed to be there but that no one had noticed me. He was walking around the shop and the owner was following him around carrying a box into which they would put whatever comics he wanted. He was dressed in all black with sunglasses and a black sherpa type pointed hat and a face mask. I only recognized him by his shoes. I noticed several body guards.. I wonder if Matt was one of them? I said something to him and he kindly responded. (seemed to be a genuinely kind person) I was pretty nervous and so left shortly afterwards because I realized that all eyes in the room were on me. 😂

This depiction of Michael Jackson is the image that I always had of him. I never believed such ridiculous stories about him. Why would I? The media lies consistently all the time.
