The 30th Anniversary Special is a musical revue show by Michael Jackson. It was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 7 and 10, 2001. In November 2001, CBS aired the two concerts as a two-hour special honoring Jackson's 30th year as a solo artist. The show was edited by combining footage of the two concerts into a whole special.
Note: The audio on half the show is removed, as well as this video does not include the ending performance of "You Rock My World" due to copyright reasons.

Im 62 years old, and run a wedding and DJ business on the weekends. Im sitting here watching the legend himself perform, and cannot tell you how much I miss this man and his live performances. Michael truly was a phenomenal performer, and knew how to entertain. I was just 8 years old when I Want You Back came out..i played it at least a hundred times over and over again on my 45 rpm record player, singing the words...Michael will always be the King of Pop. His music is always requested at wedding receptions, and people of all ages love to dance to his songs. I grew up with the man and his music..got to witness his creative talent and his brothers all who are also blessed...Im glad that this is archived for future generations to witness why our generation was so bad ass...Thank You Michael Jackson for your love and generosity..you truly are and still are one of a kind.

He's the greatest of ALL TIME. I remembered when he died I was in the mall shopping for my trip to NYC. The music was playing in the mall then all of a sudden the news came on and announced MJ was dead. I tell you the whole mall stopped functioning and people were crying every where. Watching Michael with his brothers took me back to the early 70’s when I was about 6 years old, listening to Jackson 5 albums on my little record player. “Dancing Machine” just blew my mind when I first heard it. I love Michael but the man was tired and in pain here. Doped up on pain medication and it shows. Still sparkling despite adversity but he became a commodity, dancing for a world that tore him to pieces. I hate this World for what they put this man through and yet he still showed us he could win. Michael put his heart and soul into everything he did. He never half did anything, he was a perfectionist, always striving to better himself. I was born in 1960 and grew up watching and listening to him and his brothers and sisters .Michael evolved and set the highest standard possible for anyone who came after him. I was lucky enough to be in his choir when he performed in Oslo in 1992, on Heal the world. I looked into his eyes and then to the huge crowd, he was just very nice and very professional

I saw MJ during the Dangerous tour in Sweden. We slept outside the arena for 4 days, and were just infront to the stage. Magical. MJ is the G.O.A.T forever.

We have seen the best in this whole entire world and there will neverrr be another. I thank God for blessing me to be here in his time, when he put this magnificent being on earth for me to sit under and hear his masterly music that is so brilliant, beautifully, carry out, and put into effect, like MJ stated.
