I almost keep forgetting that not everything's is about being annoying ,being a knock off and being a lack with stupidity. But to show some emotions and feelings and morality.
Oh the memories... As a 45 year old seeing this again for the first time in 30 years, revisiting the great artistry of MJ, and with now my own sister having passed on a few years ago... This clip makes my heart both ache and soar💓🕊️
@@Sta11ion well regardless of whether you think he's innocent or not, the allegations could definitely be someone's reasoning for not finding this episode wholesome. I think it's the most wholesome despite it because of the storyline.
@@aundreii151 they've stated that they removed it due to the s*x**l ass**lt accusations against MJ, which... fine I can understand that's they're prerogative but they haven't also cut episodes featuring other celebs who've been accused as well so I don't like the inconsistencies. I think this episode carries much more weight in the series as opposed to episodes with John Kricfalusi which still remain so why JUST this one?
@_.Guardian._ It wasn't about money. Jackson had a signed contract with a record company and could not sing. That's why the doubler sang instead, and Jackson just made sure it was okay...
The singing was done by a michael jackson impressionist so micheal wouldnt break his contract. But the dialogue was the real Michael. You can kinda tell a little bit but the impression was very good. Strange.
Thank you for confirming my thought here. I thought the speaking voice sounded like MJ, but not the singing voice. Nobody, no matter how good, can imitate that. I've heard really convincing speaking voices for MJ, though.
One of Jackson's conditions for guest starring was that he voiced himself, but a sound-alike would receive credit.[5] While he recorded the voice work for the character, his entire singing was performed by Kipp Lennon,[3] because Jackson wanted to play a joke on his brothers and fool them into thinking the impersonator was him
Am i really crying? Yes because MJ did beautiful at singing his Happy Birthday song to Lisa, made her day and he will be missed forever. That voice. RIP 😭
@@2tone901 It was MJ's own soundalike that he employed, but he was doing it over some concern that he couldn't sing outside of his previously existing contractual obligations. At least that's what I've pieced together from everyone's different versions of the story. So many people have told this story, and they all remember it a little differently.
Singer was Kipp Lennon. Nancy Cartwright tells the story here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9zO-u9b8QB0.html. Because of contractual stuff MJ could voice act but not sing, so he brought Kipp Lennon to do the singing parts.
As a kid this was one of my all time favorite episodes I wanted to show my son this episode because I remembered watching it at his age and loving this song it was stuck it in my head. Went on Disney plus and was so disappointed to see it was gone. Then went on to find articles of why. All that aside I loved this episode and really wish I could’ve streamed it on Disney.
Yeah, it's a shame how certain companies play moral police without any actual proof or a proper procedure (this time it was the creators - esp funny, because after they censored MJ brcause of an unproven accusation, it turned out one of them was a regular guest on Epstein's plane. For which therr was proof. The pot calling the kettle...)
watching this made me smile so big. two of my favorite things: michael jackson and the simpsons. ❤️ it genuinely upsets me and pisses me off that this episode was removed off of disney+ and every other streaming service, even from future dvd boxed sets. michael was an angel with such a kind soul, it’s a shame how easily people will fall for the lies from the media and people who just wanted his money.
The fact that it won't be included on the future dvd box sets is an abomination! Luckily for me I have most of the Season of the SImpsons on DVD boxsets and I do indeed have the older ones but I am enraged , saddened and sickened that even now people still treat MJ this way. He was a beautiful man and the media and the haters helped him to a much earlier grave then he deserved. Michael was too beautiful for those fools to comprehend and it's truly a shattering pity that there's still so many people who don't realize the love inside of him and just what he truly brought to the world. All we can do is love him and support him forever and ignore the hateful fools who shunned one of the most beautiful men to walk the earth.
@@tobylanglois3698 you honestly couldn’t have worded that any better! i’m also upset and enraged over the fact that even after his death, people still can’t let the man rest in peace. bringing his name up left and right, accusing him of rumors that are completely false and untrue. the world definitely took advantage of michael’s kindness and used it against him. he didn’t deserve that. i will always defend michael’s name and stand for what he believed in. i will love and support him forever. ❤️
My big brother loved the simpsons when we were growing up. I remember being 6 or 7 when we watched this episode. We would always sing this shit like it was a real song. He passed away two years ago. This song will now always make me think of him.
@@ACEFISHERMAN4400 It’s stupid how horrible Disney is nowadays. Walt would not be happy and neither would Michael Jackson be. Fun fact Michael Jackson loved Mickey Mouse so it’s just heart breaking.
Can someone tell me why Michael Jackson doesn't actually look like Michael Jackson in this simpsons part or am I just dumb because I never really watched the simpsons when I was younger.
My little sister was born 1/9/90 literally the year she was born . Ive sang this song to her every year since the day this came out every year on her bday Its 33 years so far and counting . Thank you micheal thank you bart. For a life time of memories
Sad that so many easily swayed people believe he did those horrible things. They forget he had a thoroughly hard upbringing and always wanted to recapture his stolen childhood
@@lilamontoya5609 so you believe people that say random crap to screw people over without evidence and with malicious intent? It’s idiots (and that’s putting it lightly) like YOU as to why society has gone to hell these days. Retribution over justice, feelings over evidence, f people like you
The only reason why I like the Simpsons more than Family Guy and South Park is because in the early 90s The Simpsons that some the best guest stars ever. Singer wise.
They had 3 members of The Beatles in one episode just different seasons. Michael Jackson in this episode. Marvel/comic book legend Stan Lee and famous scientists Stephen Hawking.
He’s been always a good kid just a menace kind kid I guess, but every single time he sees Lisa suffering and it’s not him causing that (siblings privileges) he tries to find the way to help her, or comfort her
My name is lisa and its my birthday today. This episode aired just 5 days before i was born in 1991! What a gift that michael jackson wrote me a song (kinda) lol.
This episode is my fave ever. It's the most beautiful and wholesome coz that's what Michael was like. The allogations are all false. He was an amazing person who gave over 500 million dollars to charities in his life and gave us incredible music.

It's my bday today 7/7 and my best friend sent me this knowing it would produce an automatic smile to my face....🎶Lisa It's your birthdayyyyy, happy birthday Lisa!!! Best birthday gift yet 🥰💗
