Jaafar Jackson and Nia Long continue filming the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic. In new photos, the actors embrace on the Encino set, as they film an apparent 1980s-era scene as the King of Pop and his mother, Katherine Jackson.
I also wish Jaafar would tour with the remaining brothers to sing Michael's parts because with just Jackie Marlon & Tito it just sounds like Karaoke night & the legacy of Jackson's songs deserves better to be sung in the proper pitch as Michael
I hope they don't. They got everything on the line with this film; especially since they promised they gonna address the whole "allegations" thing he faced in the film.
He said he wanted reach immortality by connecting himself to his music. I think he achieved that. He'll never die. He's constantly making new fans of his work
Please don't screw up the movie, remember the story begins when MJ gets off the stage. We already know how talented he was, show the thinking behind his genius, show the traumatic events he had to go through to get to where he is and address the "allegations" against him to tell everyone the truth. Sure show us his talent and impact on the music industry, but above all else show MJ the human being. We need to give people something to really think about and remember when they leave the theatres.
I feel the same way. Michael traveled the world sharing peace and love. I'd like to see this film explore how emotional he was regarding the media. They wanted to talk more about his plastic surgeries than his charities, benefiting millions of people.
Honestly if the 3rd act isn't aggressively about the image he had to tirelessly fight through the 90s even after death...well then the movie is toothless and playing stupid
It's incredible how so much time has passed without Michael and to see Prince and Paris and Bigi so grown up today when the first time I saw them was at MJ's memorial hugging their uncles...
MJ's son is so proud of his dad. He always seemed like a kid who was aware of his surroundings. The way he talks about MJ is so beautiful. To relay messages from his father to his fans with such clarity and empathy is truly a gift. Prince is awesome.
You would need about 6 - 8 parts of this movie to be able to fully detail his life story this movie will only touch the surface of his life story dont see how they will squeeze all of it into 1 feature length film this man is a legend

2:42 it’s so funny prince said this, because with as much footage as I’ve seen of Michael online, all I think about is how much he cared for people, especially children. Michael loved innocent things and was a TRUE child at heart himself. You can really feel how much mike loved to help people just by watching him speak with his fans. Whenever he had the chance, he donated earnings from a show, performance, tour, etc to those in need. A lot of people don’t know that Michael actually won the Guinness world record for being the biggest celebrity philanthropist back in 2000.
A good trick is to fool people into thinking you are a good actor by surrounding yourself with great actors who will elevate and mentor you…Ben affleck is a pretty terrible actor…but when he directs his movies he gets the very best actors…that’s why his movies are so highly rated 💁🏽♂️ but his non director movies are boo boo.
Truly a special time to be alive. I grew up with mikes music and was a teen in highschool when he died in 2009. Now I'm a lot older and I'm witnessing his rebirth. This is insane. Long live the king.
I was not in favor of this at first becayse I did not trust Hollywood to portray him correctly , but now I'm very optimistic about this project I believe it will portray this man honestly as the talented and wonderful person that he was God bless Mj forever !!!

I'm glad that Jermaine Jackson's son is following in his uncle's footsteps I'm really happy for Jaafar Jackson I'm really excited to see this masterpiece in 2025 on April 18th
