No, this is the most ridiculous, pompous immature thing I've ever seen a performer do on or off stage and this was on stage. Its just anger. He's not trying to be funny, because the only people who would get the "joke" are the people that work for him and the guy he's firing. This is sensationally funny but it's because of how crazy, egotistical and unprofessional it is. Being professional would be doing anything but this to help fix the situation. That being said this is maybe one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It so surreal that it feels like a scene from Southpark. 🤣 and btw I'm pretty sure what I'm saying is the reason this video was made and why it starts with his sister calling him an idiot not because he was doing something amazing. The only reason I'm writing this is because this comment has a thousand likes and it's preposterous the lengths hardcore mj fans will go to defend him which is crazy but kinda shows you that mj fans are so obsessed with him that you could never believe he would do anything wrong let alone... and commentor btw I'm not directing this at you. Only because the comment has a thousand likes.
@@blistabliss yeah, but there are other artists who have had to get on their workers for stuff like this. He did make it satirical, but he also had to make it apparent that the guy was screwing up terribly😅. I get that maybe putting him on blast wasn't the way to go, but it was probably to scare him to get his ass moving because he was doing it wrong and probably messed up other times🤷♂️. We don't know the full story, so I guess both of us can't say too much, but it's reasonable to have these views on it. We're both valid and yet probably slightly invalid. We still have Mariah Carey, and I know she's made a few angry comments towards her workers in the middle of her performances🤣.
@@jaimem1758 ur right I agree the calling him out perhaps was neccasary in the sense he couldn't go amd tell him right then. But my main thing is that there's so many mj superfans and regular fans that think he can do no wrong and therefore there has been some victim shaming in my opinion. And I guess this is a sidenote but with "cancel culture" these days even if Michael did no wrong he would still be cancelled for just the allegations if he wasn't so famous where as there's been people who weren't as famous who've been thrown under the bus for mere allegations. Btw I do believe most people who've been "canceled" deserved it. But I think your comment makes a good point all that aside. Peace and love
@@blistabliss yeah, somehow we have Bill Cosby out and about knowing that cancel culture sure didn't spare him, which was rightfully so that people called him out🤷♂️. I don't really agree with the allegations on Jackson since they were proven false anyways and there are some people out there who leach off an aspect of someone and turn it into something more for their own gain, but I do agree that people don't have to say he is flawless. He had a right to act on his worker's performance in some way here, but he also already has great performances and fans for himself that he could have just waved his arms or something and motioned for the guy to stop without worrying about how he's seen by others in that moment😂. I see your point on things, too.
This will NEVER stop being funny. “Jobs gone” “Brad what you gonna do?”🤣🤣🤣 Thankyou for all of the likes it’s appreciated🩷🩷🩷🩷. I do know MJ didn’t say “jobs gone” it’s funny. But “brad what are you gonna do”has me weak 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So he ran under the tab.e mj saw he was unable so he ran to back stage he was fired it was his pace when he started the music mj didn't need to use it so Bradley are u ok are u ok bradley
@@KreepingUnit You know, you could have ignored it, and lost literally nothing, except a tiny little victory in knowing that you can call someone else lazy while proving nothing. Hope that satisfies you 😊
@@dmc3489 He actually was a great dad and didn't abuse children. So, yes, he wud make a great babysitter. Cuz according to your comment, you are certainly looking for that "Michael abused kids" train, when he was clearly proven innocent.
@@_.prisha._ not that I have a bone in this fight, cause I really don't BUT just because he was "proven innocent", doesn't mean he was. You can't prove a person WASN'T molested.
Pretty iconic how MJ called him out, but he never fired Brad. Brad Buxer contined to work for MJ as his main keyboardist and arranger up til MJ's passing, he was even asked to come back for This Is It. Though he messed up here, Brad is a terrific artist. He's since retired from music and is an airline pilot.
Imagine going from having one of the best musical jobs in the world and then becoming an airline pilot when that is done. Edit: I'm not knocking the man for his life career arc, so don't respond like a douchebag.
🤣🤣🤣 my family and I used to stay this too, I’d always love it when other people were around who we didn’t know, but they would know what we were talking about
@@drakebell5649 Its doggone. He commonly used that ad lib during countless live performances and on his records. Listen to billie jean during the same show after the moonwalk when he ad libs on the lead up to the end dance and he says 'doggone lover'. I can comfortably rule you out as a fan.
Do you remember when Prince pulled Kim Kardashian on stage, to dance? He realized pretty quickly that she can't dance! He made her get off the stage and everything!!😂😂😂😂
Nobody was a as efficient as MJ. He literally performed while conducting an informal HR meeting, and telling the hiring manager to find a new team member 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dude didn't get fired there were technical issues and MJ was just frustrated but needed to continue until the issue was resolved. MJ was a damn good performer and he's not going to let a technical issue outlast his passion to perform, unlike some artists today that give up a show at the first sign of trouble.
Travis Scott endangered the lives of his own fans. He also flat out refused to do a show after agreeing to it and costing the venue over $5mill in Saudi Arabia. Now to address the MJ allegations, he was found not guilty on all counts. None of the evidence was even close to damning and he even won counter suits against two employees who claimed he did molest kids because they ended up getting caught in a lie. Numbskulls just looking at the tabloid bs and not the actual truth. Gtfoh with that defamation bs.
@@CosyJaney exactly, and knowing when the performance took place (1996) it makes perfect sense as he overused doggone lol. It’s absolutely not job gone
I love MJ, always have. But you can't say he didn't lip sync to his stuff. This is live but a lot of his other stuff isn't. His performance of Dangerous, he doesn't even have a microphone.
@@boodgebutton Of course he did. There’s no way he would’ve been able to do all of that damn dancing while still singing. He would typically lip sing the songs that had heavy choreography and sing that ones that didn’t. I still don’t understand why people still try to argue that. I love Michael just as much as the next fan, but he was human like the rest of us and thus had the same limitations. Singing while dancing is incredibly difficult to pull off.
@@TacitSwine750 I know, i totally agree he sang when he could and danced when needed instead. But seems like the original commenter thought he only sang live
@@boodgebutton what's wrong with lip syncing your stuff? He's known for singing and dancing and such, besides, it's his song he would be lip syncing too.
@@binkiemcbinksd6476 I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it. Lip syncing has its place. It's just the original commentor made it seem like he sang live all the time, when he clearly didn't. That's all. I love MJ, have since as long as can remember

I love how he improvised. He turned a potential akward moment into entertainment. "JOB'S GONE BRAD WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO HEE HEE HEE" LOL! I miss the king of pop.
He's done with him yet asked him to be the musical director for the history tour 3 months after this show? Yeah buddy learn your facts before commenting something so idiotic and false.
@@only1_bigzorri24 He did his job, the song went on for an extra couple of bars and he said brads name to stop the song. He himself said it was a non event.
What happened is the female singer with whom he was performing completely missed her cue to stop singing, so the song had to keep going on and on. What Michael was saying to Brad was, what are we gonna do? Do you see this shit? Okay seriously, let’s stop the song ASAP, figure something out.
Brad today: Ya so, I got fired by Michael Jackson... and he sang it in one of his hit songs... that is the coolest thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life. Although he probably still hates my guts in eternity
The music didn't suddenly cut, the song had been over but Brad didn't cut the song. So he improvised telling Brad he was getting fired. Finally when the music was cut he was able to take a moment. He was definitely embarrassed though because he's such a perfectionist.
@@girkingrightnow right, i'm glad you know this lol that is how the song normally ends live, but the problem was it usually ends like that much sooner than it did. THAT was the mistake.
He said daggone, it's god mamn. Which he sings it all the time when there's nothing to sing or no lyric in the song. You know Michael wouldn't fire someone like that, the dude is too polite and loving, no way. Don't fall for what these liars are saying, it's sensationalism - journalistic bullcrap.
@@alaefarmestatesllc no, he don't even joke like that, Michael is a far better person than most people think; the tabloids never understood him, so they came after him with evil suspicions & such accusations. IT'S TRUE.

In all seriousness, I like how Michael handled the situation. Experienced musicians are great at handling unpredictable situations that happen on stage. Inexperienced musicians just walk off of the stage when that sort thing happens to them. Lol. “Brad, what are you gonna do?!” 😂🤣
Could he be joking here... You'd think he'd have a good relationship with this man where he can make this sort of statement as a joke I dont know... anyone?
at the energy level he has at every show you'd think he'd at least stop moving and singing to start making hand gestures to the director and ask what's wrong basically make a whole scene like singers do yelling "stop the music" but nah he kept it going...the level of professionalism and work ethic MJ had is something to be admired
To say you got fired is one thing, but to say you got fired by Michael Jackson? .... those are bragging rights, and during a live performance. Oh yeah that's definitely a story for a cookout.
I read up on this incident. It was like a bad chain reaction accident. The whole thing started with his co-singer. She sung one of his lines where there was supposed to be silence. That in turn threw the lighting, and sound off. It sounds like he sings "You're my new girl" Then he's facing her and definitely sings "It's a breakdown" And he does that chopping motion like he's telling her it should've been silent right there. The whole thing just went catawhompus on MJ, completely different than the way they rehearsed it. I think he handled it like the true professional he was. *ADDITION* Marva Hicks-Taha, MJ's co-singer here, passed away recently, 9-17- 2022. At age 66, May she rest in peace. And may she be able to join MJ in a celestial duet.
@TonyKnockOff oh, ok so if segways into She’s Out of My Life and that’s why he hides his face in his hands like that. I thought he was pissed that the performance was messed up. 😂 my bad.
@@Kelema86 Honestly, that's not a bad assumption to make. Who would assume that, right after a technical error, the next song HAPPENS to start with Mike looking pissed with his face in his hands? Lmao. Perfectly normal mistake to make.
There's no such thing as a musician who hasn't made a mistake. We have all forgotten lyrics, chords and arrangements. Even if you've rehearsed a number 500 times and have played it for 20 years, sometimes the mind just goes. That being said, not all of us have had Michael Jackson as our boss and front man!!
Y’all can’t tell me the way he was walking after he got done talking to Brad was funny🤣🤣 when he said “Brad watcha gonna do?” I feel like he was really saying “STOP THE DAMN SONG!”🤣🤣🤣
Whatever you might think of MJ and his music- I don't believe there was ever any artist so passionately committed to his craft AND his paying audience.

he didn't fire brad, they continued to work togeather for some years. Michael didn't even say "job's gone" he said "doggone" sonce je had to improvise to extend the song
Exactly, people are absolute imbeciles and brain dead morons. They spread inaccurate information and fictional stories before doing research. It's funny how they claim to be Mj fans yet don't recognise that he said doggone like he did for countless other performances and on his songs. He literally says Brad what you gonna do to signal him to end the song because it went on an extra couple of bars. Nothing more nothing less. Brad even said in a interview that he doesn't know why it's made into something that it's not and that it was a non event which I already knew. Brad worked with mj from 1990-2008 on all of his tours, live performances and albums.
@@datopg0 To end the song. Simple as that. Brad worked with Mj from 91-08. Hes visible on countless MJ related footage around the 90s such as on the ghosts video, history tour rehearsals. He's seen in a studio along with MJ, Michael prince and Randy Jackson in 2005 when they was all working on beautiful girl - the footage is available on RU-vid. It bothers me that Mj fans can easily believe fictional stories and info, clearly not done there homework. He says 'doggone' many times and also says it during the same concert he was so called fired and said jobgone; at the end of each song when he does the live improvisation to end the Song. He was simply asking Brad to end the Sony because it went on for a few extra bars. He even says this during his interview with the mjcast also available on RU-vid. He says it's a non event and he doesn't know people say that which is obviously true anyway. I already knew this before the interview because if you know your MJ you'll know that Brad was one of his closest work colleagues and worked for him for almost 20 years. He also says 'brad' during heal the world 2002 apollo performance because the song at the end the 'you and for me' was going on for far too long.
@PApro here's a better question: How tf do you, as a man child, pick on a dead man about something that was never proved? Unless there's solid evidence/ it happened to somebody you know, nobody is gonna believe you.

Michael was so professional. Many performers today don't just keep going which is rule #1 if any mistakes happen. He did not, however, fire Brad at all nor say "Jobs Gone" on stage. He said dog gone breakdown. It's still funny and I loved how he worked his way through the tech issues in a classy manner while still holding his sense of humor. The ending was misleading too where he puts his hands to his forehead. It's part of the show, he did not do this in frustration. His next song is "she's out of my life" in his concerts.
And it wasn't even directed at Brad. Michael used to say "doggone" in nearly every single song. It is one of his favorite ad-libs (along with shamone and hee-hee).
