For most of his performances, the crowd was recorded with another microphone. During the montage, they just had to cut it off so you can clearly hear the instruments, the voice etc

OK this was the beginning of the us leg of the Bad tour. It started with two shows in Kansas city. This was the first day and I attended the next day and I can verify that the crowd was very lively. It's still the best concert I've been to this many years later.

It used to be called Heartbreak Hotel but they had to change it to this place Hotel because Heartbreak Hotel is also a title of an Elvis Presley song way way way back in the day but it's still a great one it's one of my favorites.
