His father called him "big nose" when he was a little boy. I have no doubt this psychological abusive suggestion at such an early age contributed to Michaels dismorphic perception.

The same pattern of millions who start by only correcting one feature.. then before we know it they are totally destroyed! If you look hard enough, you will sure find a video off these people who state they’d never go wild.. they’d never overstep the fine line between beauty and hideous facial features.. you may even find clips of them where they have criticized the people like MJ or Jocelyn Wildenstein for their devastating extreme makeovers but they are now almost right behind these people We have seen a massive increase in people flying out to Turkey for this never ending path of destruction for cheap surgery 😩😩 These same celebrities are not buying cheap fake horrid handbags off the streets of Turkey, so why are they paying for “cheap nasty surgery”? After all, they can throw that cheap nasty bag in the bin but they cannot throw their destroyed face in the bin 😩😩😩 Look at Katie price, her face was absolute perfection.. I am a big fan of Katie.. but she has totally destroyed her face on those Turkish operating beds!!! If Your reading this Katie Price? Please stop! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼😭😭😭

Learned Way, later 70's kid). I can relate to my European counterparts, however it's difficult for them to step out of their comfort zone & Do the same??? That's what "White Privilege" truly means. I grew up in Upstate NY & I never had a "White" friend ask me if I'll be comfortable/or acknowledge I'll be a Minority at any event, invited. However, I cannot say they didn't question me or other POC if... Why??? Subconsciously, they've learned it's Their Right, but Not to give the same courtesy?? And "We" don't understand, why & Don't get a good answer, if question? But, we subconsciously do, Systemic Racism (Multi layered)!!!! Globally, doesn't matter Race, Color, Religion We POC/Minorities know it will Always be a journey of self-acceptance but it would be nice to have have our counterparts (Europeans) provide/support us the same, as they question.

@@michaelratliff9449 Dude, traumas don't go away just because u had money later in life. Why don't some people understand that money can't fix everything? Specially if that thing is a trauma that you've been building up since childhood. Btw, you don't understand what it means to be a worldwide famous celebrity like MJ was. I can tell you something. It's not as easy as u think. You fuck up things in your life, everyday, we are always making mistakes. It is a huge fucking responsability to have the whole world looking at you everyday, and you can't disappoint them. You can't disappoint your fans, you can't fuck up like you normally do because everyone is paying attention to even the slightest mistakes u could imagine. People expecting you to act in certain ways, expecting you to not let them down with your next projects, people will be always expecting something from you, people expecting things from you that sometimes not even yourself expect, but there's nothing you can do, not being MJ. He never had a break from fame really, it must have really tiring I imagine, because he's not a shitty artist that let everyone around him make his stuff and compose 100% of his shit. He was always getting involved in his music, and I'm not talking of some indications here and there, I'm talking of him coming up with the lyrics, humming verses he still had to write, beatboxing the rhythm and singing the bass melodies, the background melodies, all that stuff. Taking all that information in account, I'd surely understand why he struggled so much with mental issues and stuff like that. And he wasn't rich when he was a kid, his father made him work really hard (physically) and also beated him and his brothers, so he struggled just as much as you if not even more.

This video was incredibly respectful; I'm genuinely appreciative. Thank you! Did you happen to know that he also grappled with lupus discord, which further complicated his recovery from nose surgery? This information can be found in his 1993 medical report. After his initial surgery, scar tissue formed in his nose (at the time, they weren't aware of his lupus), necessitating subsequent corrective procedures. The medical records indicate that, aside from two cosmetic surgeries, the rest were reconstructive in nature. Furthermore, MJ also contended with alopecia and, in addition to his vitiligo, lost pigment in his lips. This is why he had lip and eyebrow tattoos, as well as a hairline tattoo. We are aware that he occasionally wore wigs due to scalp damage incurred during the Pepsi commercial incident. Considering all these factors, and the constant scrutiny of his appearance while being in the spotlight before millions of people throughout his life, it's understandable how he may have felt immense pressure to maintain a perfect image.

If he had a better support system who is not bleeding him for every penny that he earned but just take care of him only for the sake of his own well being both mentally and physically, I don’t think Michael would turn out to be this fragile, easily triggered person. I also think the continued demand of changing his appearance is partially based on the significant lack of control over his own life too, along with his eating disorder, a powerless person would try to prove to himself that something is still within his own control even at the expense of hurting himself.

@NexTakenouchi
@NexTakenouchi 2 года назад
He did get necrosis. Michael had Lupus, which is an auto-immune disease that attacks the hosts body, and often prevents the body from healing from injuries and surgeries. It lead to a lot of scar tissue forming around the site of surgery, and tissue necrosis inside of his nose. After the first couple surgeries, and them finding out he has Lupus, the rest of the surgeries were trying to save his nose, and removing scar tissue to help him breathe. Michael talked about his Lupus, and how he just wanted to look "normal" despite all of the degradation. The doctors tried as hard as they could to make his nose look presentable, as normal as they could.

Uh huh. Where exactly on the bar do you place the pedophilia? It's amazing what you can get away with when you are immensely talented. I realize his upbringing likely contributed to a very high degree, but that line is one that should very much not be crossed...PERIOD. It really doesn't get any lower than that, IMO. And that is precisely the sort of thing that will make the next generation of those he 'touched' into the train wreck that his personal life was. The real shame is that he needed help VERY VERY badly and obviously no one bothered to care enough to see that he received it. I suspect that as long as they were on the gravy train wagon all was good as far as they were concerned. It makes me sad, because I've heard a lot of people say he had a very kind heart, THAT part of his character was definitely on the plus side.

@@MrJdsenior sexual abuse survivors know who could be capable of committing these horrible crimes cause we not only saw but got to experience the typical profile of child molesters or pedophiles in general. And Michael Jackson doesn’t fit into the picture. Not at all. Not 1%. I’m a survivor of sexual abuse myself and studied every case and even Michael himself for years before I even became a fan. Back then it took a lot of time to research everything. Going through every page of the fbi files which they’ve released on their website,court documents,statements and i even studied the "victims" which refused to take polygraphs for years. In 2019,2020 and 21. When a judge for almost 40 years is saying that he’s disgusted by the lies you’re fabricating,you gotta tell there’s clearly something wrong. There are major evidence that only speaks for Michaels innocence,which the media of course covered as always when it comes to Michael. Same with the parents who went to jail for lying in court or stealing from Michael and blackmailing him for money. People like you never got the see the truth cause y’all don’t make any effort to dive into a subject more than you get to see in the news. His physical changes had absolutely nothing to do with fitting into the pedophile profile. Someone like Michael who have had no privacy at all and had cameras all over his ass,wouldn’t have gotten away with it if he would’ve been one. That makes no sense what you’re saying. That man was always on trap always exploring the world meeting people,went on tours,gave concerts went to charity galas,tribute shows,TV shows,Hospitals etc. he couldn’t even sit in his hotel without thousands of cameras lurking outside under his balcony. He couldn’t do anything. He haven’t had the time to do this shit y’all are accusing him of. 😂 the system wanted to destroy him with the allegations and the Santa Barbara DA even flew all around the world offering $200.000 to parents to lie about mj. When one parent wanted to tell Michael what’s going on after he called a friend and told him everything,he mysteriously got shot in front of his garage. They’ve tried to turn his biggest passion against him and when they couldn’t succeed,they had to get rid of him by killing Michael. Michael had the power no one else had. No president or government.

Correct, first time he broke his nose, but he figured he'd make it "cuter", because his father made fun of his "big nose". It didn't heal properly, and they didn't know why. If you look at the second pic in the second surgery, you can see the malar rash from his Lupus. His old doctor thought it was some form of acne (he did struggle with it when he was younger), and put him on lots of treatments that never worked. They didn't know he had Lupus until after his second surgery, and realized that's why he wasn't healing properly, and tons of scar tissue formed in his nose. After that, all surgery was to remove scar tissue, and necrotizing tissue, and is why his nose degraded so severely. It wasn't intentional. Edit: Sorry, I'm kinda passionate when it comes to Lupus, and care deeply about Lupus survivors. I've seen what happens to people, in person, and how it kills. Surgery scars not healing, and getting worse. Losing hair. Renaud's phenomenon. Extreme sensitivity to limbs where touching anything causes terrible pain. Unable to breathe... all depending on where the Lupus would attack. It's such a serious one, and some people don't believe the Lupus sufferer is struggling with that.

I hated my original nose.. It became an obsession of mine. Even tho everyone told me there was nothing wrong with it. I ended up getting a rhinoplasty and got a perfect “scoop” button nose. And I became even more insecure. I ended up being diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder. And I learned that with BDD plastic surgery makes your symptoms worse. So I understand how it can turned into a slippery slope. Because no matter how perfect your nose is, how many surgeries you get. It will NOT cure body dysmorphia. It has really fucked up my mental health. There was 2 years of my life that I wouldn’t leave the house or socialize with people (except for work). Because I genuinely thought I was deformed. It didn’t matter that people would now tell me my nose is perfect and they wish they had my nose. Because I don’t see it that way. But that’s apart of the mental illness. I feel for Michael Jackson. The surgeons should have stopped him from anymore procedures. I tried to go in for a revision but I had a very respectable and humane doctor that literally wouldn’t perform a revision rhinoplasty on me. And I’m glad he said no because it wouldn’t have cured my BDD and it couldn’ve eneded I’m a slippery slope.

This is the most ridiculous analysis I have ever seen. Of course MJ had his nose done, not once, not twice, but.... The surgeon speculates only by pics, totally missing the effects of lighting , flesh(light), photoshopped photos, totally missed comparison of photos in 2009 with thousands of pics from 2005 (trial=day light), angels of photos... and all the previous years combine. wth he means 1992-1995??? and at 15:15 with such pathetic comparison of 1975-2001 photos.... BUT 12:13 perfectly shows the 2005 nose as perfect. 10th surgery? nah... In every year there are thousands of photos of MJ and the surgeon picked up only those generally available from tab mags and newspapers, which are specifically made to attract people and create a specific narrative = making Michael ugly. Then he compares 1996-2001 noses... like... what? Seriously? Again, lets compare the very same nose in 2005 and 2009 with those from 1991/92/93 Its not like changing noses every year and during 2009 year MJ looked great and having sometimes bigger nose than the other noses before... Its like conspiring about having a box full of noses or... that there were 5 different Michael Jacksons. and then if his nose suffered such damage why after 2005 he looked great, if we can see really damaged noses of celebrities and weirdos (Botched show), so MJ had 10 surgeries and still the same nose without damage? and there is one important problem... MJ was such a non-private person, totally scanned by media and tabloid... so when, where and how he had a lot of spare time to do all the surgeries and nobody noticed and never reported about it if the media ppl knew everything better than anyone else? at the end of speculations, the surgeon totally missed the point of the changes. its called VITILIGO. Michael with vitiligo could have never been able to be a performer or an artist as a white black man with typical features of Black people aka African-American nose. Imagine a successful artist at the age of 22 knowing his career would be over because of changing of his skin color in a few years? MJ was not Lee Thomas. Google Lee Thomas. (not only my oponion) the only option was to change his nose (as the fundamental feature) and "transform" himself into a new Michael Jackson, the artist, creation of himself ... like we all do know him since the Thriller era (1982). The tabloidish speculations and rumours totally out of reality like MJ wanted to be less like his family??? huh? The surgeon stopped analysing in 2002 and this is the end of the story??? OK... btw, he had only one personal makeup artist, his best friend Keren Faye.

@@MJfansk I agree as a fan I don't think it's possible he had 10 whole surgeries. Especially between 2003 and 05 cause he was dealing with so much and was so heavily portrayed in the media. Also I don't think this doctor considered Michael's lupus also like you said can someone really have 10 surgeries and not have his nose collapse??? Also he doesn't consider the heavy contouring Michael did on his nose. I think Michael probably had between 3-5 nose jobs and the last few were definitely due to his Lupus and possibly some form of dysmorphia. Also the angles are off cause in other images you can't see major changes in his nose as frequently as the doctor claims.

Back in 2016, I was in a fatal car accident. If my profile picture still has me in a green shirt, that's what my nose looked like before the accident: long and pronounced. I loved my nose because it was like my father's nose, who died in the accident. Unfortunately, my accident was so severe that I needed both a rhinoplasty and later on a septoplasty. I thought the septoasty would make my nose look closer to pre-accident, but found out it was only to help me breathe better (which is very important and functional!). On top of that, people would often tell me my new nose (small and petite with a curved in bridge) was "cuter" than my old nose. Honestly, it hurt. The accident had taken so much from me and my family. It even took my nose, one of the most defining features I had of my dad. Over the years, I've grown to accept that this is "me" now, with the disabilities and limitations as well as the wisdom and tenacity. I also had/have body dysmorphia after the accident, but that was weight related. As a child, I was given nicknames for being super skinny and after the accident when I decided to lose weight again, I was afraid of becoming too skinny and turning into a stick... so I ate myself heavier again. Luckily, we finally figured out that I developed this dysmorphia and are working on healthy ways to cope. Yet I can't even imagine how Michael must have felt. Often I want my old nose back, but I haven't had any cosmetic surgeries after the accident. We all have something we're fighting through. Try to remember that you're beautiful and if there's something you do need to or want to change, try to find a healthy way to do so.

He tried fixing it, the world and media called it a vain nose job - trivialized it. Vocal and physical performers, especially high caliber types, can't afford breathing issues stemming from nose and throat. He came, he suffered, he performed, he gave and he left. As a physician, and someone who underwent rhinoplasty myself between med school and residency, I found this a fantastically detailed, educational and compassionate breakdown of a plastic surgery "journey." It's unfortunate that money really can buy you anything, even from supposedly ethical physicians. I say this bc at some point, it should have been abundantly clear that Jackson was struggling with significant body dysmorphic disorder. One can't help but wonder if, at some point, his money might have been better spent on therapy rather than surgery. And maybe he had therapy, I don't know. If so, it doesn't appear to have helped him accept his appearance. One of the the things that would perhaps be worth mentioning as a cosmetic surgeon - and you seem like a skilled and thoughtful one - is the proportions of Jackson's face. I recall my surgeon and I chatting and him telling me that a lot of his job amounts to "managing expectations," ie. sharing with patients his professional opinion as to whether what they want is a) even possible, and b) advisable, based on their other facial features. So I imagine that, as a cosmetic surgeon, you have to think about what will "work," aesthetically speaking, with the person's overall appearance. In looking at Jackson's face - which in this video is, at times, side-by-side with your own face, just as a general "face shape comparison"! - I was struck by how broad and square Jackson's jaw was. I think it would be fair to say that he had a comparatively large, broad face, which - though not desirable to him - made his larger, broader natural nose at least proportional to his face. As his nose narrows due to repeated revisions, his face (and especially his jaw) begins to appear disproportionately broad. I really enjoyed this breakdown and look forward to seeing more of your videos, and hearing more of your thoughts, which strike me as balanced, considered and insightful, especially in this era of sensationalistic media. I doubt he had any therapy. He had been picked up by a record label that ended up controlling him 100%. When he died, he was broke, but his estate ended up making money after his death ,so, the record label recovered their losses plus...... It is clear money is still being made, using his name and his performances. The entertainment industry is the investment of talented people who end up losing all their rights and often, their souls. That is Hollywood, in particular. The pop music industry is way up there....example, JZ and his wife who have become billionaires. Look it up and do your research......very .....entertaining......The "frequency" of their "music" and how it affects some people. It is not a positive influence. See where I am going ? It takes a little research, but not much and there it is !!!!! See what happens to that guy who dates one of the Jenner girls ? the "frequency" generated in that "concert" caused people to freak out and step over each other....I think 10 of them died. It has become very quiet lately. We hear nothing about it. Surprised ? not really. It will be snuffed...
