yeah according to his autobiography, Diana Ross was the one to teach him to draw. You can look up some of his drawings on google images, he was amazingly talented!
@@selfiekroos1777 bitch he did not take no estrogen pills and that's a fact. He actually spoke in a deep voice just chose to speak in a higher tone. It's also on tape. Don't speak on anything you don't know nothing about idiot.
@@CharlieXFBA oh get off it! Joe Jackson was abusive. Those boys were talented before he became a stage dad and he didn't need abuse to push them. Shut it.
@@CJ-dg3bm Talent doesn't mean a damn thing without discipline. THAT is what Joe provided. Not saying he was perfect, but there is no Jackson 5 without Joe Jackson, flaws and all.

WHO KNEW HE COULD DRAW LIKE THAT???? Whoa!!! There will never be another person as talented as Michael Jackson. Period. I’m glad they finally got around to asking the other brothers some questions! I bet it was tough to have to be in his shadow especially when you’re the older brothers. He was destined to be AMAZING!! ❤️
He wasn't an interviewer that happened to be McLean Stevenson who was a Golden Globe award winner in 1974 for his role as Lt. Colonel Henry Blake in the television series MASH. Stevenson helped found and was a supporter and spokesman forthe National Burn Foundation for Children
It came across as him being very protective of his little brother, and rightly so. Typical MJ even then he had a heart of gold. I was annoyed watching that interaction too. It seemed very cruel and mean spirited, not funny at all. Nothing angers me more than when someone is enthusiastic about their hobby and someone else decides to crap all over their enthusiasm, especially when it comes to kids.
Megha Sridhar The host said that Randy helping out with michaels rock collection was stupid. And as you can see, Michael got a lil mad, as any of us would. He then encourages randy, telling him that he’s doing great
McLean Stevenson was a well known actor at the time he wouldn't disrespect he was probably try to make them laugh and feel comfortable, that guy was on the tv show Mash
Shenyae T And girl, you are too. I always see you on Mike's videos and you are very protective of him, from what I’ve read and I’m proud of that. New subscriber.💞
Such a talent!!! There are many of Michael's drawings, sketches and paintings in different books out there. He was so damn talented it just takes your breath away.
Michael had such beautiful bone structure. His voice never really changed either, he’s so soothing to listen to... And what a talent. He’s missed so much.
@@326vince why do you feel the need to make up lies about Michael’s bone structure? The man is beautiful. He has beautiful bone structure. He was 17 here. What you wrote is false there is nothing about his bone structure that has been “cut out”. And how about if you’re going to wish anything wish to come on here and appreciate the gift that was given to us all through Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5.
@@swoods7720 I was speaking of the start of his solo career. And yes. I think he was awsome as god made him also. But to believe he never had plastic surgery is just ,you can tell yourself it never happened all you want. It’s sad he felt he had to change the color of his skin! I wish he hadn’t Sadly me wishing It’s still not going to change the fact he wasn’t comfortable with who he actually was!
What a nice boy Michael was! He didn't know how many records were sold, and this is telling a lot. Music was his love and love is not for sale. I am proud of you Michael!
If my sources are correct, he became obsessed with sales after Thriller. "He was desperate for Bad to sell 100 million copies to the point of obsession". He kinda lost the plot after Thriller. ☮
Minute 12:30 "Don't you miss not ever having a childhood?" Michael's answer "Not really, we get to do things kids do in neighbourhood" That surprised me
@nemoran Mj never read her book and her book turned out to be false she came out years ago stating so…and Mj wrote in his book that he wished he played more but he wouldn’t change a thing…
Not necessarly. They played a lot together and with cousins and B. Gordie' child. What he missed and never knew , was to make his own way as a child out of the family. He was stuck inside but inside there was fun.
What a talent MJ had!! I'm always impressed with him - he just always amazes me:) And how cute Janet was when she was little girl - what a beautiful family!
I don't like these kind of interviews. The ones that talk about personal things, hobbies etc. It has the potential to be degrading and invites personal attacks. See @ 9:57 Michael's reaction. The guy said "that's the stupidest thing I ever heard" to Randy. MJ looked ready to snap at him. There's no need to insult others hobbies. Its their personal choice what they do in their spare time. You don't say that to young kids. Idk, I just feel it has the potential to crush a young kid.
Lady red pill. This is in the seventies and the success socially and financially of A Group of Young Black Men was so phenomenal at the time, and racism was seethingly presented by those intimidated by their success. You see how he is counting up the worth of Gold Records just by Marlon mentioning how many records the group has sold. Nothing like that happens today. The jealousy and covetous attitude were full-blown at this time in their career. They'd become a household name by their performances nationally and internationally. On TV, in advertising commercials, a cartoon on Saturdays, a Family Variety Show and guest appearances on Talk Shows, and other Variety Shows.
Wow Michael he is so very good in art he draw perfect ,I think if Michael continued his study or education career he Will be a good future engineer too if he was not a celebrity actor, Michael was an intelligent and smart man, he was a fast learner too in everything's he can do.
Michaels temperament was golden. He doesn’t like when his friends and family feelings get hurt. He told randy it’s okay keep going your doing great in response to the interviewer 🫶🏾 so sweet
I am just emagine thinking if michael not in a television bussiness, and he continued studying I guest he Would be a high great professional degrees becouse as you can see him personally he have a brain i mean he s such an intelligent and smart boy, look at his art as that age so incredible,
@@tango4484 in case you never noticed, this was a group! Marlon and Jackie were part of the group like the others and they all played a role such as singing background, playing instruments and dancing. What an ugly comment to make.
you can see that Michael was stressed out in this interview and was not comfortable. Just see the last minutes of the high-pitched voice, how fast and loud it was breathing ... poor Mike
The host's behaviour (esp towards young Michael) is very disturbing, and nowadays, that we know stuff about the industry, a lot becomes clear. But our boys did great!
What do you mean? Perv? Or racist not being able to remember 5 kids names. I mean it's not like they got v surprised and just had to interview 5 randoms. So disrespectful. But Jones were cheesy back then. They maybe would done this shtick with the partridge kids too. I like to believe
I don’t like this interviewer... he’s very passive while Michael and his brothers are so sweet. Despite his strange behavior and the accusations against him... We really could have been better to him. He wasn’t always “wacko Jacko!” His father, the media, and the public In general turned him into what he was prior to his death. I hope he is finally resting peacefully. Love you MJ *a true legend & icon.*
“Despite his strange behavior and accusations against him” you are a part of the problem. The unthinking and unfeeling masses of people who misunderstood MJ him and treated him in humanely as a result.
ummm he was NEVER Wacko Jacko. His “strange” behavior was in response to the decades of mistreatment. and the BS accusations were the final nail in his coffin to murder him.
All of yous are More than entitled to your opinions just like I am. And I believe that we are all agreeing with each other I just have a slightly different outlook on it just as all of you do. So, just relax. He is an icon no matter what and he was Mistreated throughout his whole childhood and life no doubt about that like I said I just hope that he is finally at peace
Thank you for this rare clip! McLean Stevenson saying it was "dumbest thing he ever heard" about the rocks...He shouldn't have said that to those young boys. I love rocks, they bring me serenity, they're so beautiful! He was trying to be funny, but he ended up being stupid. Michael was a great artist Too bad he couldn't have focused more on it, it would have helped him relax and forget about the heartaches he had to endure in this life. He was funny about the Dobermans though...I have one too. I love her, she's the best!
VisionofLoveandPeace Well folks we all now know that when Michael had a bit of free time he was off in a studio PAINTING. There is a huge collection of his fabulous art work some of which is now being auctioned off. So for those of you who said he was off "molesting little boys" go fuck yourself.
hey....commenting from 2022 here....just now coming across this vid....thanks for putting up the guy's name....80s baby here...I know why I didn't know the guy because I NEVER watched M.A.S.H. anyhoo Marlon sounded like he was about to snap too calling him Merlin.... 10:45... hope u made it to 2022 as well :)
Michael drew Charlie Chaplin and the other old man that shows how talented he is. impressive!!! That poor interviewer does not know the names of Jackson's 5. Looooooovve to hear Michael"s voice, it's like an angel is playing a melody. He raises 2 racoons. It's good rather than being with humans. His voice, his drawings just simply amazing. He is good in swimming.wondering what's that in the world he does not know??? Watta godsent angel he is.
@12:26 it's amazing to me, I think MJ didn't really think about that question until after Thriller and Bad. After the Bad tour MJ probably had some time to reflect back and see what he wanted most out of life.
I think he may be lieing because his father was back stage and if he said that he didn't have a good childhood and the lady asked why, and he told her the reasons, aka being abused, he would have gotten into so much trouble
...none of us were around to know what really happened, but I think its pretty evident, he was told or forced to say "no I had/have a normal life/childhood!" This was the pinnacle of his career... he couldn't get on national television saying anything negative!! The simple fact that someone has to ask "do u feel u had a normal childhood?" says it all!! Anytime u see kids doing this much work, u automatically wonder to urself what their life must be like. Obviously his life was spent rehearsing, dancing, learning songs, giving interviews, taking voice lessons, on and off airplanes performing day in and day out, etc...I'm quite sure that sucked and left no time for normalcy! ...I doubt he lied
Lei C. Dahlquist I hate the way Joe treated Mike and his brothers. If he was my son I would’ve made sure he had a childhood and I would’ve told him how beautiful he was every single day of his life ❤️
Goddang that drawing of Charlie Chaplin. I thought drawing was just a hobby of his....I didn't realize he was really really good at it! =) He's like Freddie Mercury and Kurt Cobain.
To be honest not only because I am a fan of Michael Jackson but the truth, all of this Jackson Brothers are awesome but Michael Jackson is the most handsome among the rest of them. He has the better shape of face, nose, eyes, smile.. everything and his charisma is stronger than the rest as well. If there is a word “Black Ship” of the family, Michael Jackson is the “Blessed Child” of the Family.
Exactly my thoughts, he was the most handsome among the brothers. 2023 and am having a swell time with MJs videos. He was and will remain a Legend of all Legends. The G.O.A.T.
Thanks so much for uploading this. I grew up watching them and I still remember when Michael looked like this. he was at his best during his teens and early twenties.
Interviewer : 6:43 "Somebody said you Raised Something " MJ : _" _*_RAISED_*_ sOmEtHinG?"_ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 😏 MIKE GOT ME SHOOK WITH HIS REACTION! 🙊That question was asked without any Malice but Mike tho 😂😂😂
I grew up with the Jackson 5. This is the first time I have ever seen this interview. Every time I had a spare dime I would buy there latest record. M.J. R.I.P. 9/2/2021
Dinah Shore was so good with people. I loved how she spoke to each of them. She was s natural people person. I loved this footage. Miss the 70s as a kid.
