Hey guys! So, for me, this song, yes, was made for Diana Ross. In this song he talks about the groupies that loves take advantage of famous person, but, apart of that, Diana Ross also have to do with the song, cause she was the love of his whole life and she broken his heart for life, she played A LOT with his feelings, iluded him, and that's not nice...although all of this, yet he appointed Diana Ross as the guardian of his children, in case his mother can't take care of his children for some reason. Theres also other songs that has to do with her like "Who is it" and "Remember the Time"...unfortunately, she made him suffer a lot, he said he wanted to marry her several times and she didn't take it seriously and it took him a long time to he get over that love, this is horrible, so sad what my baby passed through...😔
You should watch some live performances of this from the BAD Tour … he usually jumbled the lyrics which was hilarious, whilst doing unspeakable things to the luckiest microphone stand in history! And being an utter rock god at the same time🤟🏼

Oh my, Beautiful Michael 😍❤️. He’s so gorgeous and his vocals always gets me. One of my favorite songs! Thanks for reacting to this and for your kindness toward Michael 💐💐.
Hi guys, love these videos and the memories they bring. Just wanted to be of assistance to the topic. There's no confirmation of who Diana is and at first Diana Ross was suggested because of her close friendship with Michael Jackson since the Jackson 5 days. He regarded her as a Mother figure and later a lover. This was Princess Diana's favourite song and when Michael was about to pull the song from his Bad Tour at Wembley, she was upset and asked him to still perform it! He did so with Prince Charles watching and also met Diana afterwards. The two became close friends and used to phone eachother regularly.
Excellent reaction. With Dirty Diana no one ever mentions the dynamics of the song. You had the hard electric guitar (which lets face it was heavy even for the 80s) mixed with the low tempo, then builds back up again. Not many artists had the foresight into dynamics. Preceding to repeat over and over. Of all the eras MJ had it was his Bad era that reminds me of being a kid and having his cassette on repeat and wanting to be him. I think the entire world in the 80s and 90s wanted to be (or at least) dance like him.
thank you KeV and DaVe, great reaction to a great song, this video is mind blowing and his live performance of this song on stage was also spectacular, he said he wrote this song about the groupies who go after singers ,band members ect, the name Diana is just a fictional name, its perfect! can you imagine any other name sounds that perfect for this song? thank you so much for both of you for choosing MJ songs 🙏❤👑✌🦋🌻
I just want to say that I stumbled onto your channel randomly a few days ago and I've been greatly enjoying your content since then from what I've seen thus far. =D There's usually always an interesting discussion about a trivia fact regarding the song or performance or an observation and the like. There's a real appreciation for the music and the musicians and the art itself, which is wonderful. So thank you for that! =D (Plus, I've been introduced to a few artists I now need to check out further thanks to your content, so thanks for that as well! XD) Furthermore, since I've heard you talking about stage presence and the power of performance and such before and seeing as that's something you appear to enjoy, I would like to suggest a certain performance from MJ for you guys. Even if you don't make a reaction to it, it's well worth watching in my oppinion and is one of my favourite examples of why that man was a master entertainer: Remember the Time from the Soul Train Music Awards in 1993. What makes this special is the fact that Michael arrived to the award show on cruches, with a sprained ankle, yet still performed the song seated from a chair - and a performance it was! Regretably there is no "HQ" video of it. The best quality version of it currently floating around on this site is found on a channel called 'Irfann Jibrail' titled "Michael Jackson - Soul Train Music Awards - Remember the 1993" (Yes, the word 'time' is absent of the video title for some reason. XD' - Meanwhile a video titled "Michael Jackson - Soul Train Awards (March 12, 1993) by the channel 'MJ Live & Rare Videos' shows him accepting one of the three awards he recieved that night and explain briefly how he came to be injured in the first place, for those who are curious about that.) Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to discovering more new music with your channel in the future! =D (Edited to fix a typo)
That's a very nice comment from you and many thanks :) We love sharing our reactions to viewers like yourself and when it's a MJ song it's even better! We're both fans of the King Of Pop 👑 and will be showcasing his content for a long time to come 👍 In regards to your request many people have asked us to react to the live performance of Remember The Time, just haven't got round to it yet. I'll mention it to Kev though -Dave
@@Davesmusicreactions That's fair, there's a lot of possible things for you too watch after all! =D I just wanted to make sure that you guys are aware of it more than anything. Hope you have a great day!
I wish you guys would upload lots more great MJ reactions. It’s always great to see your excitement whenever you watch MJ. Please react to Elizabeth I love you, I just can’t stop loving you live Yokohama bad tour, man in the mirror live Copenhagen Dangerous tour and I don’t know if you have ever heard Seeing Voices quite a different MJ song but beautiful ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Dirty Diana Short Film proves MJ Is The Most Versatile Music Artist To Ever Live he did mostly all genres not joking also this was about “Groupies” MJ said in a interview via ~ 1987 Ebony Jet Interview & It is Steve Stevens who is playing on Guitar in this Also might I add MJ always had his own fashion sense he never followed a trend he was a pioneer a true innovator so only he could truly pull off the stuff he wore at times and this look is on his BAD album cover it’s so iconic/influential😇🙌🏽👑🔥🌟💯(Please React to Michael Jackson “What More Can I Give” Music Video)
