I heard that Michael Jackson didn't perform this song a whole lot because the background dancers couldn't really get the dance moves right. It's a shame because I would've liked Michael to perform this song more than twice

This is my fave choreography from Michaels. I love the song and video. For me it don't start until we see Michael in a monk costume. That's when the video starts. I can see where nsync was influenced when they did this in their show in 2000. The one when they dressed as monks in the bye bye bye performance. I love how MJ has influenced Everyone in the music business. And the choreography I noticed Britney did that one too. So epic.
